💎Hidden Gems Along D400 Coastal Road
When you’re driving along the D400 between Antalya and Fethiye, there are a few spot that I stopped by and I just have to share:
1. Heart Cave (Konul Plaji): This place is almost completely off the radar—perfect for some uninterrupted photos. Just be careful as the path can get a bit slippery. I parked the car on the roadside near a disposal bin and it was a quick stop.
2. Butterfly Valley: You can’t actually get down to the valley from here, but the view from the top is stunning. The water is the bluest blue you’ll ever see. When you spot P3, that’s your cue to pull over for a quick photo op.
3. Kaputaş Beach: I didn’t brave the heat to head down to the beach itself—it was a scorcher and pretty crowded—but it’s worth stopping just to take in the view from above. Parking might be a bit of a challenge during peak season, but you can usually find a spot on either side of the road.
4. Antiphellos Ancient Theatre in Kaş: This theatre is such a peaceful spot, facing the sea and almost always quiet. It’s not huge, but the view makes it worth a visit. I found parking along the roadside easily.
5. Kaş Town: After visiting the theatre, I checked into my hotel and wandered around Kaş. The town is full of vibrant bougainvillea, and every little alley seems to lead to the sea. If you’re there around sunset, make sure to take a dip in the ocean—it’s the perfect way to end the day.
If you’re planning this trip, I’d suggest renting a car so you can stop at these hidden spots at your own pace. But if you prefer public transport, you can easily catch a bus from Antalya Terminali—look for Bati Antalya. It’s about 180 lira per person to Kas Town and offers a relaxing way to enjoy the coastal views.

I declare that the most beautiful highway in Turkey is none other than D400
This time, we have arrived in the blue Turkey❗️
If you ask me which part of this trip to Turkey left the deepest impression, it would be the D400 coastal highway, which I can even say is a 'once in a lifetime' experience in my heart🌊
▫️
✨The D400 coastal highway starts from Osmaniye and ends in Mugla. The section between Antalya and Fethiye is half mountain and half sea, truly beautiful to the point of tears.
▫️
📍Kaputas Beach
This beach is the hallmark of D400 and the most coveted beach for tourists from all over the world. The water is clear, the sand is fine, the sky is blue, and the sea is azure. Any beautiful words to describe this beach are not an exaggeration.
There are several photo spots on the beach:
1⃣️Cliff Boulder: Located in the parking area by the road, here you can take a standard 'ID photo' with the sprawling beach.
2⃣️Wooden Walkway: Walk down the walkway, and the corner is the best spot to admire the beach!
3⃣️White Sand Beach: The sand is relatively coarse, but any casual shot here is a masterpiece.
▫️
📍Cayagzi Youlu Beach
Compared to Kaputas, this beach has far fewer people. When we went, there was actually no one!
It was probably because it was the off-season. The pavilions by the sea were all closed, and all the sun umbrellas were put away. However, the driver said that come May, it will be a completely different scene.
▫️
📍Kas Town
A small and beautiful town located on the D400 coastal highway. A walk around the town takes about half an hour. The pace of life in the town is very slow, perfect for relaxing and daydreaming.
If you have enough time, you can stay in the town for a few more days to experience the leisurely life of the locals.
In the summer, you can participate in various island-hopping tours here, which should be a very interesting experience!
▫️
📍Kidrak Beach
This beach is not large, but it has distinctly layered seawater in deep blue, lake blue, and mint blue. The jelly-like clear sea makes people feel refreshed. Sitting by the sea and listening to the sound of the waves can make you forget the time.
▫️
📍Butterfly Valley
There are two ways to visit Butterfly Valley. One is to join an island-hopping tour and take a boat to the beach; the other is to walk down the mountain path, through rugged trails, many sections of which require both hands and feet.
Both ways have their pros and cons, and you can enjoy completely different scenery. For those who prefer a lazy tour, taking a boat is recommended. For those who like hiking, you can consider walking the trail.

Turkey: Sunset at Kaputas beach
If you are visiting a province of Türkiye Antalya, then #Kaputas beach is a must place to visit. It’s located just 10 minutes drive from the town of Kas. In summer make sure you come before 8am because after 9:30 it will be full of people. The water color is mesmerizing, also it is an official clear water place marked by the blue flag. So make sure you’ve got a snorkel with you for watching thousand of fish.
In summer the sun goes down behind the rock so you can’t see the sunset. But in winter the sunset is just in front of you and it’s just amazing.

Kaputihan Beach Samal Island
Kaputian Beach in Samal Island, Davao del Norte. Accessible by "habal-habal" from the port where barges from Sasa wharf dock. White sand and seems like crystal clear water. #bucketlistreboot

Along the coastline, blowing the sea breeze, slowly swimming in the world of this blue sea, every moment is the scenery. I thought the Mediterranean was so beautiful, but I didn't expect to see kaputas, once again refreshing the beauty of the Mediterranean. On the second day of self-driving, after breakfast, from the Kash plan to Fethiye, the rods were driving in front, and several of us were dozing in the car. I was still looking at the water outside the window, driving open and found The road ahead was full of cars, I guess it must be a big boss attraction.
The car also slowed down, slowly followed the traffic in front, a sudden turn, a large layer of distinct mint blue, sea blue, sky blue bay jumped into the eyes, I could not help but sigh: Wow, here too Its too cool.
kaputas beach is a very popular attraction in Turkey, with a cliff and a sea and sky, forming a small bay, from the cliffs down the stairs to the beach, many people swimming and sunbathing here. The lively cafe and the crystal clear water are definitely the most beautiful beaches in my heart, like the real life version of marine watercolors.
No matter which angle, you can clearly see the color of the beach. Standing on the road overlooking the entire beach, the sense of vision is refreshing, even the locals say it is the best beach in Turkey.
