If you like a fantastical atmosphere, early in the morning is best, and if you prefer vivid colors, I recommend taking photos in the afternoon. However, in the morning when the water temperature is still low, not many carp come out from under the bridge, so it's easier to take photos of the fish swimming after 11:00. However, as more and more people come out, it becomes more difficult to take photos without people in them, which is a bit of a problem. If you can't find a time when there are no people around, you can be sure to take photos of the water surface from above this bridge. I went to Iwamon Falls (halfway up Mt. Tarobei in the Horodo Kurodani area, Seki City, Gifu Prefecture), which is about 20 meters high! The rare combination of the waterfall basin and the torii gate was beautiful. On the right side of the waterfall is a rock gate (third photo) that is 10 meters high, 10 meters wide, and 7 meters deep, so it is called "Iwamon Falls."
