At this hour, there was only one table occupied. Besides regular seating, there’s also a counter where you can watch the kitchen prepare freshly made dishes. I ordered the weekday lunch special, which is made fresh upon order. The dishes arrived quickly, and to my surprise, the two meal sets and beef tongue sausage filled the entire table. The beef tongue sausage was quite flavorful. Pairing it with the fresh greens on the side helped balance the saltiness. The key is to dip it in the mustard seed sauce—it’s a perfect match. The thinly sliced grilled beef tongue was crispy and chewy, with a delightful texture. Eating it with rice enhanced its aroma. The highlight, however, was the grilled beef harami steak. It was far superior to the beef tongue. The steak was incredibly thick yet melted in your mouth—unbelievable! The seasoning leaned towards the heavier side, but the texture of the beef was so enjoyable that it paired perfectly with rice. The best place to take pictures of Ishibashiya is from the street, where you can take pictures from the Funachobashi Bridge nearby, capturing both the weeping cherry trees and the riverbank. It is a very interesting place to spend time. You can easily understand the flavor of "Ichiban Shot" and try delicious beer! The whole tour takes about 1 hour and 30 minutes. It starts with a video introduction, then goes to the material experience area, where the malt, the raw material of beer, is displayed, and the aroma of hops is experienced. After that, you can actually visit the production and packaging process of wort made from malt. You can also try the difference between the first and second squeeze wort, which is quite fresh! Finally, the brewer poured the finished product. It was the first time for me to taste beer carefully and feel the attitude that was insisted on from the freshness of the beer, the beer machine, the glass to the pouring method. It is decorated with wooden furniture and old books. It is warm and comfortable, with a great atmosphere. Most of the customers are female. The store's breakfast is served until 11 a.m., and is very similar to the breakfast in Nagoya. Breakfast is included when you order a drink.
