The Kamandalu Ubud Resort I visited was conducted in a yoga studio located deep in nature within the resort, so that you can breathe in nature while doing yoga. #Overseas Hotel Kamandalu Ubud is a 5-star resort with a local feel in Bali! It is a bit far from downtown Ubud, but there is a shuttle bus and Bali taxi fares are cheap, so you can get around without any burden! The lobby also feels private. When you take a taxi, please check your reservation name and open the door. Check-in time is 2pm, check-out time is 12pm, which is the standard. However, I wanted to do a late check-out, but when I asked, they said it wasn't possible. To briefly explain the "Ubud Chalet" room, there is a teapot space, a dressing table space, a tea drinking space with fruit, two single beds, a closet with two sets of kimonos, a safe, a washbasin, and a bathtub in the shower room. The washbasin is equipped with a hair dryer, two bottles of water, two towels of different sizes, a toothbrush, toothpaste, and other things, as expected from a 5-star hotel. I applied for the "Floating Breakfast" service for breakfast. You eat breakfast at the infinity pool, and it's a hot service that everyone visits here for, to take a picture of their life. #Bali

The quiet and few people atmosphere allowed me to get away from my daily life and have a quiet rest. I was able to spend a comfortable and happy time walking with my child every day. It was also close to downtown Ubud, so I was able to visit the Ubud Palace, Starbucks, a mart, etc., and not get bored. Today I'm sharing a hotel in Ubud, Bali, which is only a twelve-minute drive from the Ubud Palace and market, quite close indeed. The hotel offers a shuttle service that is available at different times for pick-up and drop-off. We booked a two-bedroom villa, and there's a special check-in area for villas right below the main lobby. They served us a welcome drink, one glass per person. Then there were some small tea snacks, and afternoon tea is provided before 18:00 every day, including a free freshly squeezed juice for each person. We arrived at our room, which has a yard full of green plants and a swimming pool connected to the master bedroom; you can jump into the pool right from the sliding doors. There's also an outdoor double bed for napping. The master bedroom has a large bed, and the second bedroom has two small beds. There's also a small dining area between the two rooms. The mini-bars in both rooms are free of charge. The hotel has two pool areas, one pool is next to the check-in building, with both a deep and a shallow section. The other pool is next to the forest and gives off a tropical rainforest vibe, complete with a forest viewing platform for taking photos. There's also a forest yoga room, offering a yoga class every morning from 7:30-8:30. The overall environment of the hotel is very nice, and the service is excellent, with every staff member being very enthusiastic.

All the staff are kind, take pride in their jobs, and are very professional. Even when moving from Kamandalu Ubud to another accommodation, they provide a landing service, and when it starts to rain outside, the person who agreed to pick us up waits with us in the car until they arrive. It's the best. The breakfast view is also nice and delicious!

I stumbled upon this experience and decided to booked it. This place was located 10 minutes from my hotel. It was super convenient! Right from the moment I drop off the bike, I was greeted by their guards and hotel staffs! Everyone was so nice and polite which is a great start to the lunch! There are several timing to this - 10:00, 11:00, 12:00, 13:00, 14:00, 15:00 or 16:00 for one and a half hours. As we already scheduled a sunrise tour that day, we decided to book the last slot - which is the best (the weather is cooler and no one else will be waiting for their turn to get on the boat). There are many photo opportunities but we were hungry so we only spent 2 minutes snapping before jumping onto the boat for lunch! They also provided a bucket of fish food to feed the kois, apparently it's good luck! There are 2 main courses you can choose: Seafood or Chicken. We both chose the seafood menu: 1. Poached prawn served with rustics crostini of tomato cherry, black olive, grilled paprika, green garden salad and dill dressing. 10/10 - was so juicy and big and the flavours complements each other 2. Balinese mix satay (fish satay lilt, squid and king prawn) - 10/10 The peanut sauce served with the satay was a winner! The satay were well seasoned and perfectly cooked! You can taste the grilled. 3. Tex Mex Wrap with avocado, tomato, Mexican rice and scramble egg - 8/10 It was delicious but by the time I reachef the wrap, I was too full! The wrap was well seasoned but definitely could use some crunch texture to elevate the dish. 4. English muffin, mozzarella and smoked salmon - 10/10 This didn't looked appetising but I was shocked at how well each element compliments each other! It was sweet, smoky and savory! For dessert we were served a Hazelnut chocolate crepes served with Banana, Strawberry with Aloe vera jelly and raspberry tartlet. 10/10 I don't have a sweet tooth but I finished it clean! For drinks, we both got the Strawberry Blast: A creamy cocktail with a blend of fresh strawberry, passion fruit syrup, Sprite. 10/10 - It was so refreshing and definitely goes well with the menu picked! I would love to make it here in Singapore! Overall I highly recommend this experience if you're in the area! Tip: I did a some research and found that it's cheaper to book it directly with the hotel. Most of the hotels mentioned are these keywords, in fact, in addition to these, Kamandalu Ubud There are a lot of places worth mentioning in the resort~ My favorite is the heart-shaped pool in the suite we stayed in!
