Hop on a train to reach Jungfraujoch, the Top of Europe, without the huffing and puffing! The air thins as you head up the mountain so take note not to over exert yourself. The ice palace with beautiful ice sculptures is fascinating to visit, especially if you are from the tropics like me! Walking in the snow is fun but watch out for slippery ice as you queue to take a pic with Swiss flag. The view is breathtaking and it is COLD! Sunnies are really helpful with the blinding snow. Something special to do would be to video call your loved ones and show them the Top of Europe ❤️ There are a couple of eateries and a variety of shops if you are looking for Swiss gifts and keepsakes. The Top of Europe pass entitles you to some discount here. Opt for the gondolas as you head down to Grindelwald first where you can get a cuppa hot (Lindt) chocolate: it’s amazingly good! That was our ‘cherry on top’ to complete this unique adventure. It is an wonderful experience coming up here without doing a the hiking as people in the past did. The train ride was very comfortable and we were able to see the transformation from green valey ro snow-slope and snowy mountain. The moment we reached the top, the view was absolutely amazing. The snow was so fine to touch and the sky was so blue. Recommended to bring sunglasses as it is very glaring. #skiadventure

#celebratewithtrip 1.Interlaken-Grindelwald-Jungfraujoch Via Eiger Express Duration: 1 Hour 30 Minutes 2.Interlaken-Grindelwald-Jungfraujoch Duration: 2 Hours 15 Minutes 3.Interlaken-Lauterbrunnen-Jungfraujoch Duration: 2 Hours From Interlaken, we first took the R62 train to Lauterbrunnen. The journey took around 30 minutes and once we reach Lauterbrunnen, we switched trains to the Wengernalp Railway service which takes us up to Kleine Scheidegg. We spent sometimes in Lauterbrunnen and enjoyed the view of the Lauterbrunnen valley with its Staubbach Fall as we slowly travel to our destination. Once we reached Kleine Scheidegg, we started the final part of our journey. We took the train from Kleine Scheidegg to Jungfraujoch. Most of the journey will be through the tunnels inside the mountain at an altitude of 3,000 meters. #jungfraujoch #switzerland #friendstrip

A trip to the top of Europe is highly recommended. only access to the top is by train . train ticket itself is on the high price but it totally worth it consider the view and experience you will be getting will be price less . Uo the top you can go to the outdoor observatory and take picture Yes it will be very old wear warm enough . Switzerland is one of the most breathtaking trip ever, and this of course comes with price! There is 2 popular mountains here in Switzerland, 1 is the matterhorn mountain while the other is the jungfraujoch mountain(the tallest mountain in Europe). Jungfrau(pronounced as Yong Frau), got its popularity because of the beautiful train ride you get on from Wengen where it will gives you a scenic 360 view from the train while going up to the mountain, it also is called the top of Europe, this means the air up there is thin! Ample clothing here is definitely needed as all year round it is cold and icy but of course do not head here during winter, I've never tried because I assume if the town is freezing, I can't imagine what's up here. #2024wish The highlight of the Swiss trip in Y2023 is visiting to the Top Of Europe Jungfraujoch. It’s surrounded by by the glaciers and external snow . The snow Moutain was really amazing when you reach to the top please get more warm cloths and it’s really cold . And some of you may need to oxygen tank which you can get it from down there. The only way to go up to the top of Europe is by train remember to get a window seat as you can see the best beautiful scenery from the window. Overall it was a great one and dream place to go. #fallishere but Jungfraujoch snow whole year along! the differences is -10 degree during fall and -20 during winter. it’s located near Grindelwald with only 15 mins of Eiger express cable car and another 30 mins of the world tallest train would take you up to a 4,300 m above sea level mountain. the time spend there could varies from 2-4 hours depending on what you do but it’s best to take your time slow cause altitude sickness can kick in due to the fast accent. Restaurants and Shops 🏬: There are several restaurants, cafes, and souvenir shops where you can enjoy Swiss cuisine and purchase memorabilia. There’s also Lindt Chocolate shop over there! 🍫 5. Adventure Activities 🎿: Visitors can partake in activities like snow tubing and snow biking. This was one of the main reason we came to visit Jungfraujoch, I really wanted to snow tube and it was so fun!! There is also a short zipline that you can do over there! Price was quite reasonable I feel! Jungfraujoch is a unique destination for nature lovers, adventurers, and those interested in high-altitude research, offering an unforgettable experience in the heart of the Swiss Alps. 🇨🇭 At the end of the journey, the train conductor gave us a chocolate each and honestly, it was unexpectedly a really delicious chocolate! #switzerland #jungfraujoch #SwissAlps #TopOfEurope

I am truly blessed to have the opportunity to be part of this remarkable event. As Jungfrau Railway celebrated it's 100th Year Anniversary, I was appointed to invite our Malaysian editors and journalists to The Top of Europe, Jungfraujoch to witness the amazing countdown of the event. Reaching up there from Lauterbrunnen was an incredible journey itself. We witnessed a true engineering masterpiece in the Swiss railway history and enjoyed the beauty of the captivating Swiss mountain panorama. Those breath-taking views along the way truly make it like the time has just stopped! Once at the top, the medias was invited to have their pre-arranged lunch in Restaurant Crystal, where every guests get to view the panoramic angle of glacier while enjoying the beautifully prepared finest Swiss dishes by the Chef. Having a cup of hot chocolate or coffee while overlooking the spectacular landscape is just another way of enjoying and appreciating life. After the sumptuous meals, we wander around and took lots of photos before departing back. What an experience making it to the "Top of Europe" in Jungfraujoch! Though the view was not spectacular when I arrived, the Sun slowly peeped behind the clouds and cleared up the sky. Finally, I have seen the magnificent view on "Top of Europe". I also have seen the marker specifying the official filming location of the popular Korean Netflix Series, "Crash Landing On You". With the Sun shining finally, it was so relaxing just sitting on the lounge chair enjoying the moment. The view on the way up and down was also stunning. Take me back to Switzerland, please. ❤️ 🤍❤️
