To get here you can take a fast train to Qingyuan then make your way to the Scenic Park. I mentioned in my previous post that it’s possible to spend the entire weekend at this park as there are cute cottages with hot individual hot tubs, gorgeous views and it’s just so peaceful it makes the place perfect for a relaxing getaway. I’ve heard that during the holidays this place gets extremely packed, I went on a random weekend where it was quite empty so we really got to enjoy the scenery and explore the park at our own pace. Hotels: there are plenty of interesting cottages on site. Very budget friendly and clean inside. Some are hidden in the mountains while some are on the river with the most gorgeous view. We stayed in one of the hidden cottages (very tricky to find some cottage numbers) and ours had an outdoor hot tub which came in handy after a long day of walking. Attractions: inside the park you can find various activities. One of my favorites was the tank ride (the gun makes a sound when you shoot it). Others include paragliding, zip lining, train ride, bungee photography and several others I can’t recall. Food: food options are limited. No western food at all and only 1 or 2 delivery options so pack some of your favorite snacks cos you won’t be able to get them here.
