On one side there are Dancing flowers and plants that are floating on the water and with the air, they are dancing in the water and air. Beneath, there are a lot of fish and different creatures that are beautifying it more. A good place for making memories and taking pictures. OMG, you guys, the family trip to Zhenjiang Dagang was amazing! I took the kids to Zhenjiang Dagang for the weekend and I'm totally obsessed. This place is perfect for a family vacation! I can't let any other parents miss out on this guide, so save it now! 👇 🏨 Where to stay: Zhenjiang Dagang Chengmei Apartment Hotel Seriously, this hotel's location is incredible. It's right in the heart of Dagang New District, making it super convenient to get to all the attractions. The rooms are clean, spacious, and even have a kitchenette. It made traveling with kids so much easier. And the best part? It's incredibly affordable. You can get a room for around $15 per person. Talk about value for money! 🎡 What to do: 1⃣ Chuishan Scenic Area It's ridiculously close to the hotel, just a 10-minute drive! Chuishan isn't very high, only 258 meters above sea level, so it's an easy climb for kids. The view of the Yangtze River from the top is breathtaking. There are also hot springs and a campground at the foot of the mountain, perfect for a relaxing family getaway. 2⃣ Jinshan Lake Amusement World This place is a kid's paradise! There's an outdoor playground, a beach, an arcade, and everything in between. My kids went wild and didn't want to leave. At night, there's a stunning water and light show that's both romantic and magical. It's a great photo opportunity. 3⃣ Tujia Zhenjiang Chuishan Campground If you have enough time, you have to try RV camping! Lying in the RV at night, you can look up and see a sky full of stars. My kids were so excited. The campground has great facilities and is perfect for families. 🍽 What to eat: There are plenty of local restaurants around the hotel. When in Zhenjiang, you must try the Guogai Noodles and Yao Meat. They're authentic and affordable. In the evening, check out the nearby night market for a wide variety of snacks. My kids loved it! 💡 Tips: 🚢 Don't miss the Chuishan ferry with the kids. It's a 20-minute ride with gorgeous scenery. 👕 Bring extra clothes for the kids if you're going to the Jinshan Lake beach. Playing in the sand can get messy! 📞 The hotel gets busy on weekends, so it's best to book in advance to avoid disappointment. Our family trip to Zhenjiang Dagang was truly worthwhile. Jinshan Temple on Jinshan was built during the Eastern Jin Dynasty and has a history of more than 1,600 years. The temple is built along the mountain, with a unique architectural style, densely packed halls, and interconnected pavilions. The mountain is covered with magnificent buildings, forming a unique landscape of 'mountain wrapped in temple.' Jinshan Temple is listed alongside Putuo Temple, Wenshu Temple, and Daming Temple as one of China's four major temples; Entering the mountain gate is the Hall of Heavenly Kings, with Maitreya Buddha in the center and the Four Heavenly Kings on both sides. Behind the Hall of Heavenly Kings is the Mahavira Hall, with three golden statues of Shakyamuni Buddha, Medicine Buddha, and Amitabha Buddha in the center. From the back of the hall, you can climb to the Xizhao Pavilion, Guanyin Pavilion, and Lengjia Terrace to reach the summit of Jinshan at Liuyun Pavilion, which houses an imperial stele inscribed by Emperor Kangxi with the words 'A Panoramic View of the River and Sky.' Here, you can overlook the scenery of Jinshan Lake. From Guanyin Pavilion to the north, you can climb the Cishou Pagoda and visit Fahai Cave, the place where Master Fahai practiced asceticism. Additionally, there is the White Dragon Cave, associated with the legend of the White Lady; The front of Jinshan Temple is an excellent spot for taking photos, where you can capture both Jinshan Temple and Cishou Pagoda in one frame, making for particularly stunning photos; Jinshan Scenic Area is very large, with Jinshan Temple being the main attraction.
