I visited 'Jinpu-kaku' in Tottori Prefecture, a building also famous as a movie location! 📍 2-121 Higashimachi, Tottori City, Tottori Prefecture This historic building was completed in 1907 and was named by Heihachiro Togo! It is based on the French Renaissance style and has a very cool design! You can tour the inside for 150 yen for adults! It is also famous as a filming location for the movie Rurouni Kenshin! Although you can't enter due to renovation work until 2028, the exterior alone is very beautiful, so be sure to visit if you're nearby!

Most places with a Meiji-era atmosphere are the locations for Irodori Kenji🎞 This is a Meiji-era Western-style building located right next to the ruins of Tottori Castle...or rather, the grounds are directly connected to it. The balcony table and chairs that are often seen in Instagram photos have disappeared🫥 So it may depend on the day when they appear...! ? Tottori Castle is no longer there, but the stone walls and ruins remain.
