This thousand years old temple is now 1 of the four ancient temples in Hangzhou and famous with its Nan Ping Wan Zhong Bell which it was known as 1 of scenic place in the Westlake. Visiting here, the entrance fee costs only RMB 10 where you just require to purchase the ticket at the entrance. Highly recommend everyone to spend around 2 hours here as the temple is very huge and there are a lot of photogenic areas for you to take picture with especially with its yellow wall. Although the waterfall 💦 is quite an artificial setup, it's effect on people is purely natural with such cool breeze 🌬️. We enjoyed it the most by seeing the blooming flowers 🌺 and the non tiring fishes 🐟; and particularly this place also had 🐢 tortoises which is quite a rare sight as I only have seen turtles (they're quite different) in most places. Leifeng Pagoda is located on Sunset Hill on the south bank of the West Lake scenic area. It is China's first color copper-carved pagoda, originally built in 977 during the Northern Song Dynasty. After several reconstructions, the current structure, designed based on the original Leifeng Pagoda, was rebuilt in 2002. On weekends, while contemplating whether to take the elevator up the tower, the long queue for the elevator was enough to discourage the attempt. The scenery in Jingci Temple is beautiful. Every flower, every blade of grass, and every leaf is interesting. The warm reminder signs can also provoke deep thought. Here, I also found a tree hole hiding under the grass, not wanting to be discovered. Jingci Temple and Leifeng Pagoda face each other across a road. Standing in front of the highest hall of Jingci Temple, the view is exceptionally beautiful, and it's a great spot for taking photos. When you come to Hangzhou, you may not enter the Leifeng Pagoda, but you must visit Jingci Temple. If you go to the highest floor of the Leifeng Pagoda, you must try the telescope there. After inserting a coin, you will be surprised to find that it will 'swallow' your money (they are broken). Regarding transportation, both attractions have dedicated bus stops. You can get off at either Jingci Temple or Leifeng Pagoda, as they are very close to each other.
