Zhejiang Jiaxing has been the rich land of Jiangnan since ancient times. The city is located between Shanghai and Hangzhou. A South Lake is famous throughout the country for the convening of a major conference of the Chinese Communist Party. In fact, Nanhu was famous for a long time before the CCP was held. The lake and Hangzhou West Lake and Nanjing Xuanwu Lake are also known as the three famous lakes in the south of the Yangtze River. The area of South Lake is about 600 mu, which is much smaller than that of West Lake and Xuanwu Lake. The area of West Lake is about 10,000 mu. Nanhu was recorded in the Three Kingdoms period. The beautiful scenery of the Yanyu Building on the island is a classical Jiangnan garden. Yanyulou got the name of the building because of the poetry of the Tang Dynasty poet Du Mu, "The Southern Dynasties 480 Temple, how many buildings are in the rain." It was built in the Jin Dynasty (936-947) after the Five Dynasties and was later destroyed. The existing Yanyu Building was rebuilt in the Jiajing Period of Ming Dynasty. Qianlong Emperor prefers the Yanyu Building, six down the south of the Yangtze River, and eight times on the Yanyu Building, leaving more than 20 poems. The Nanhu Scenic Area is free to open, but you can go to the Yanyu Building and several other attractions to purchase tickets separately. The boat is the only way to go to the Yanyu Building. A very comfortable city. Really quaint. The hotel I stayed in was near the Yuehe Historical District. I walked to the Yuehe Historical District, where there is the God of Wealth Hall and Zongzi Cultural Museum. There is a flower and bird market next door, and then I walked to the Zicheng Ruins Park. There is a Catholic church nearby where you can take photos. Then I walked to the Haogu Pagoda Courtyard, where Wu Zixu is enshrined. You can walk to the top of the tower inside and see the panoramic view of Jiaxing City. Then I walked to the Nanhu Scenic Area. The road along the way is very beautiful, passing by Lanxiu Garden and Shao Garden. It is very beautiful inside and free. Remember to take a look. Some people play harmonicas, some play saxophones, some have picnics, and some take walks. There is wind and sun, it is really comfortable and easy to walk.

If you come to Jiaxing at this time, you can enjoy the beautiful scenery of plum blossoms in Meihuazhou and rape flowers in Xiangjiadang. 🗓Itinerary: Day 1: Arrive in Jiaxing in the morning and head to Nanhu Scenic Area, the birthplace of the Communist Party of China. You can take a boat tour of the island in the middle of the lake and visit the Nanhu Revolutionary Memorial Hall to learn about that magnificent history.
