Tianshang Palace is an old temple complex located in Xingcun Village, near the Bamboo Raft Ticket Office, the starting point of the rafting. It is not a tourist destination so it conserve the beauty of an hidden gem! 5 minutes walking from the tourist bus stop of the bamboo rafting, nearby restaurants free entrance I arrived at the bus stop around noon, had lunch, than visit the place, after that board the bamboo raft…the strategy to avoid the crowds worked! #lucaworldtraveler

Jade Girl Peak, Yumu Feng 玉女峰 in Chinese, is a peak that stands to the south of Nine-bend Stream and Two-bend Stream, said to be in the shape of a pretty girl, so its name Maiden Peak. It faces Great King Peak across the stream, with the Iron Slab Peak in the middle. A great place to admire this peak is from the Nine-Bend Steam, that pass by just at the foot of Jade Girl Peak, and where you can find a seal stone. #lucaworldtraveler

Yunwo area is completed immerse in the natural landscape made of bamboos and rocks with irregular and bizarre shapes, just in front of the Nine-Bend Stream, and with its relaxing atmosphere has been an ideal place for mental cultivation since ancient times, Buddhists and Taoists scholars left historic sites including rocks inscriptions and pavilions. #lucaworldtraveler

located along the Nine Bend Stream, it has beautiful inscriptions on the rocks facing the stream. It is near the Zhi Zhi An Temple, an old temple not to miss. You can get to the Shuiguang Rock from the entrance of the hiking route of Dawang Peak / Great Ling Peak, there is a white statue with a gate to hike up, instead of hiking uphill just go straight and you will pass by a small garden first. #lucaworldtraveler

Big Red Robe Scenic Area, in Chinese Dahongpao 大红袍 is located in the central part of Wuyi Mountain, the beautiful relaxed walk go through mountains terraced with tea plantations, and can visit the place where the famous Da Hong Pao tea grows, with seed trees growing on the cliff, said to be 1000 years old. Da Hong Pao is one of the top 10 famous teas as well as treasure in China, and it was also a tea as tribute to the emperor in the Ming dynasty. #lucaworldtraveler

Tianyou Cave also called Peach-Blossom Cave is located in a secluded area with a beautiful temple. after visit Heavenly Tour Peak you can hike down to Taoyuan Cave and than proceed to Yunwo. since is quite isolated very few people go there. This big scenic area is considered the best of Mount Wuyi, with a beautiful scenery made of rocks and cultural heritage, not to miss! #lucaworldtraveler

it is a lovely small temple located in the Liuxiangjian Valley they I did found exploring the Da Hong Pao Scenic Area on the way to Water Curtain Cave. first built in the Song Dynasty 960-1279 and rebuilt in late Ming Dynasty and early Qing Dynasty. has the layout of a residential courtyard with Confucian style entrance hall while the main hall has a Buddhist style, and finally a Taoist style in the sutra pavilion…quite an interesting mix of religions! #lucaworldtraveler

Water Curtain Cave or Shuiliandong 水帘洞 in Chinese is a scenic area that features peaks and rocks of the Danxia landform, with the widest cave in Wuyi Mountain said that can contain 1000 people inside. It is a small area to visit and I did explore it together with Da Hong Pao Scenic Area - also called Big Red Robe Scenic Area. Located in the central part of Wuyi Mountain. #lucaworldtraveler
