Jangtaesan Mountain Recreational Forest is a beautiful forest in Daejeon South Korea and is known for being Korea's largest metasequoia forest. Getting There - I joined a day tour to Jangtaesan and nearby attractions from Seoul. You can go by KTX or intercity bus too. You can either choose to stroll or hike depending on your fitness level. Highlights - 1. Metasequoia forest You will get very different colours and landscapes depending on which season you go. Personally recommend autumn as you will be able to see a burst of orange, yellow and red. 2. Forest Skyway and Suspension Bridge It is the best way to admire the stunning beauty of the forest and have a panoramic view. 3. #Emotional Cafe [Jangtaesan Interview Cafe] 🌳Location: 452 Jangan-ro, Seo-gu, Daejeon Daily 9:00-19:00 This cafe is located at the entrance of Jangtaesan Recreational Forest They sell various dessert drinks and even gelato There is also an outdoor terrace in front of the river! The building itself is so pretty and I can't help but admire the pastoral feel that matches the background The cafe prices are not too expensive and the taste is good I recommend refreshing yourself with a cup of coffee before going to Jangtaesan.

really love this place, went here with my family (2kids and 70 yo mother).. everyone looked so happy! just make sure to pay attention to your child and I don’t recommend to bring your child to hiking the mountain since the trails are pretty dangerous (I brought them and they were very satisfied to conquer the world! haha)

From starryxin Very relaxing walk ang beautiful place There was a board walk up to the Sky Tower. Quite an easy stroll up and should be wheelchair friendly. Walked up the to the recreational sites and there were sequoia trees along the path. Very beautiful. Weather was just nice for the stroll. There was a cafe at the entrance and we had to take a shelter as it started to rain as we were about to leave. It's been a really long time since I went hiking instead of hiking ~ Jangtaesan is really famous for its hiking trails I went there expecting red maple leaves.. but to see the red maple leaves I had to visit two weeks later ㅜ It was a shame, but still it was pretty. It's been a long time since I smelled the trees ㅜ ㅜ And I went to Cafe Interview right next door, and the drinks were delicious!!!🌈
