A lovely hanok-style building, it is relaxing, has a wide variety of menu items, and you can also try traditional teas. A must-try here is "Sujeonggwa" 수정과 🧡 Sujeonggwa...means sweets soaked in water, and is made by adding ginger and cinnamon to boiled water, adding honey, and cooling it down, and then floating dried persimmons, pine nuts, etc. in it. ⁡ ⁡ It's cinnamon flavored, so you might either love it or hate it, but it also contains jujube, so it's full of Korean flavor✨ ⁡ I've tried it at a variety of stores, including ones with crunchy ice and ones with dried persimmons, ⁡ At this store, they use whole frozen ripe persimmons instead of ice. This cafe is pretty underrated! Sited inside the park lies the peaceful cafe .📍Haus (하우스 커피 앤 디저트) burst onto the scene, setting up shop in the cozy nook of Jangchungdan Park, right at the foot of Namsan. You can spot it chillin’ on the opposite side of the swanky Shilla Hotel, just hanging out near the entrance of the National Theater of Korea and Namsan Dulle-gil. Now, what makes Haus really stand out from its neighbors is its seriously cool Hanok-style architecture – a real throwback to the good ol’ Korean design. Best thing here it is spacious and never too crowded! Their Pastry and yogurt is. must try! This cafe is definitely a insta gold spot! During Autumn it is exceptionally beautiful too with the surrounding ginko trees and maple leaves around! Navigating to Haus Cafe is an absolute breeze. The trick is simple: make your way to Jangchungdan Park, and you’ve practically arrived. Conveniently positioned by exit 6 of Dongguk University Station (동대입구역), all it takes is a leisurely amble through the park. Trust me, within a mere 5-minute walk, you’ll find yourself at Haus! There was a little bread left even at night, which bothered me, but I was thirsty so I just had a drink. I had omija, a popular drink in Korea, mixed with soda. It's a tea made from the fruit of the Korean berry, also known as gomi-ji. It's a Korean herbal tea made by pouring water over dried gomi-ji and stewing it over low heat until it becomes thick, and adding honey. This is a hanok cafe located at the back of Jangchungdang Park in Dongdae-gu, Seoul, Korea. It is a large, one-story building and a special cafe where you can enjoy the atmosphere of a traditional Korean hanok. There are many types of desserts, and I tried the prosciutto sandwich croissant, which went perfectly with the food and was very delicious. It is open from early in the morning until late at night, and is close to Shinra Hotel, so it is also recommended for those staying there! Palpal Restaurant is a small alley restaurant where you can eat rice bowls and ramen for lunch and have drinks with your meal and snacks for dinner. You can enjoy various Japanese dishes such as ramen, curry, gyudon, and garak noodles for an average of 10,000 to 15,000 won. I ordered gyudon and spicy tonkotsu ramen. The gyudon was not greasy but rather light, and the beef was especially delicious. If you like spicy food, please include spicy sauce when ordering. Personally, I couldn't finish the tonkotsu ramen because it was spicy, but I didn't get tired of the spicy tonkotsu ramen. The yogurt with chocolate rings that came out as dessert was just right for a palate cleanser.
