Tham Jang Cave Park in Vang Vieng, Laos, is the closest cave to the city center. It is approximately a 2-kilometer walk from the Vang Vieng Walking Street Night Market. Upon reaching the ticket booth, the entrance fee is 5,000 Kip. Inside, there is a parking lot, and further in, a wooden bridge crosses the river. After crossing the bridge, you enter the park. At the entrance, various snacks are sold, and inside is the park itself. The park features a natural cave lagoon with clear blue water where you can swim. There are walkways along the lagoon for visitors to take photos. The cave is located halfway up the mountain and is a typical karst cave of Vang Vieng. The enormous cave is mysterious and pristine, filled with various oddly-shaped stalactites. Inside the main cave, there is also a Buddha statue. It is the most worthwhile attraction in Vang Vieng city.

Tham Jang is a cave located southwest of Vang Vieng, Laos, which can be accessed by crossing the Song River Bridge, which is an orange bridge. Then walk for a while and climb the stairs for about 50 meters. Inside the cave, there are beautiful stalactites and stalagmites. It is a very wide and deep cave. The rock patterns are beautiful. Going deep inside gives a cool feeling. There are lights decorated to be colored lights and to see the path inside the cave. Tam Chang Cave is close to downtown Vang Vieng, so you can take a tuk-tuk there, but you can also walk there in about 20 minutes. I thought there was only Tam Chang Cave, but it is decorated like a park overall, so there are many things to see in addition to the cave, such as a guesthouse, a river, and a mini lagoon, so it would be nice to stay for a long time as if you were having a picnic. Today's Wanrong weather is great! The frangipani is the national flower of Laos. It is better to go to Tanjiang Cave and walk around. It may not look as good as Yangshuo. It lacks the colorful artificial lights, but I prefer this original style. There are several Buddha statues in the cave. Unfortunately, I didnt go to the Thousand Buddha Cave in Luang Prabang this time~ I will have the chance to try the long tail boat again next time!
