InterContinental Danang Sun Peninsula Resort:
They were really attentive and enthusiastic in helping us. In addition to patiently introducing every purpose of the room, they were also able to handle our questions immediately, help us find a suitable room, and be able to communicate in Chinese. When we needed help, they responded immediately to messages or calls. The service was very good, and the restaurant service was also very thoughtful. In addition to continuous care and immediate tidying of the table, they were also able to help us arrange seats for us, and their photography skills were especially good.
The environment is quite relaxing, the retro style is also unique and ingenious, the cable car and beach experience made us very satisfied, and we really liked the holiday experience that InterContinental gave us!
Sun World Ba Na Hills:
#Bana Hills is located 40 kilometers west of Da Nang, with an altitude of 1,487 meters. It was first developed during the French colonial period. At that time, all the buildings were wooden. When Vietnam successfully gained independence, a fire burned them all down. Later, #Sun Group rebuilt it under the name of #FrenchVillage and based on European castle architecture, it built the Ba Na Hills Resort into a comprehensive entertainment attraction integrating high-end hotels, aerial cable cars and theme parks.
The cable car system of Ba Na Hills is the world record holder for single-line length. The cable car is 5,801 meters long and climbs 1,400 meters. You can take the cable car from the foot of the mountain to the top of the mountain. There are 6 lines in total, enough to accommodate tourists from all over the world.
The origin of the name of Bana Mountain is said to come from the word Banana, as the mountain was named after the abundance of bananas at that time.
Ba Na Hills won two medals from the Guinness World Records: #World'sLongestMontrealCableCarSystem, #World'sHighestCableCarSystem.
Riding the Ba Na Mountain Cable Car is like being in a fairyland. Climbing 1,400 meters in just 120 seconds, its engineering is astounding.
The landmark of Bana Hills, the #GoldenBridge (also known as the #BuddhaHandBridge), is 1,414 meters above sea level. The hands extending from the mountain wall hold the arc-shaped golden bridge. The whole design is very spectacular.
There is also a #BanaLingying Temple on the mountain, in which there is a huge white jade seated Buddha guarding the entire Bana Mountain.
#太阳世界 has various amusement facilities. Although our ticket already included them, we couldn’t enjoy the ones that were too exciting, and the ones that were not exciting didn’t arouse our interest.
It is better to visit the French Village, especially when the weather is cool and comfortable, it feels very comfortable to take a walk there.
Hoi An Ancient Town:
Tour the ancient town of Hoi An and Canaan Island at night, take a ride on a traditional bamboo boat and go crab fishing, it is an unforgettable experience.
The riverside water town is breathtakingly beautiful. Facing a relatively pristine natural ecology, the islanders' fishing and bamboo barrel boat stunts are impressive.
At night, the ancient town of Hoi An is decorated with lanterns made by the skillful hands of local women, which add a charming touch to the ancient town.
There are numerous shops and restaurants in the ancient town, and each one has a unique decoration!
Enjoy a cup of popular drink and feel happy
My Son Sanctuary:
My Son, known as the Little Angkor Wat, is one of the most anticipated itineraries during my trip to Da Nang. Because this is a historical site left by the ancients, I was afraid that I would miss a lot of historical knowledge and stories if I traveled on my own, so my friend and I signed up for a half-day tour to My Son Sanctuary through an online travel agency. The drive from Da Nang's hotel area to My Son Sanctuary takes about an hour and a half. There are many local villages in Da Nang along the way, and the scenery is also very beautiful. When you arrive at the My Son Sanctuary tourist area, buy a ticket at the entrance first, then walk 5 minutes inside and there will be a shuttle bus to take tourists to the ruins area. The ruins area is not very large. Starting from the lotus pond overlooking the holy mountain, we visited the temples and ancient pagodas that were destroyed during the war. We listened to the local tour guide telling us the historical stories behind them. Although the ruins have been slowly restored after being damaged, the architectural technology of the ancient Cham people has still not been fully replicated by modern people until now. One can't help but marvel at the wisdom of the ancients. Finally, there is a Cham dance performance to enjoy. The whole trip was very satisfying, except that the weather was too hot and sunny, the temperature that day was probably around 37 degrees. Be sure to wear sunscreen and drink plenty of water when you visit.
