Name: InterContinental Bangkok Sukhumvit
The InterContinental Bangkok Sukhumvit blends modern design with Thai elements. The first impression upon entering is one of modern luxury.😍
The staff who helped us check in was incredibly friendly and professional, making us feel very welcome. The room facilities are brand new and stylish.😎
We stayed in a large room with club benefits, which included access to the executive lounge for breakfast, afternoon tea, and evening cocktails (don't forget to try their signature cocktail!). The rooftop infinity pool on the 32nd floor is a must-visit, especially at sunset when the sun's rays reflect off the water, creating a shimmering effect that is simply breathtaking.
If you have the chance, visit the hidden gem on the second floor, a luxurious bar named Rogues. After a swim, change into something nice and enjoy a cocktail there. It's the perfect way to end the day.🔥😍🔥

But overall, we were very impressed.
❤️❤️❤️❤️

Young and fashionable, excellent lounge | InterContinental Bangkok Sukhumvit
A new InterContinental hotel has recently opened in Bangkok, located in the Thonglor district. I came here to check in and experience it, with prices ranging from 1200-1300 and points from 23-30K. The hotel is situated about 200 meters from the Thonglor BTS station, a black high-rise building with a relatively small footprint but quite tall.
The room size is really small, but the room's style is very refreshing, and the view from the window is good, it's just that the size is too small, which is a letdown for the InterContinental brand. The welcome gift included a cup of nuts and a cup of dried fruit, and the minibar's drinks and snacks are quite abundant, all charged. The bathroom is also quite small, with the addition of a large bathtub, but otherwise, it's not much different from a Holiday Inn Express.
The executive lounge is not very large either, but all the facilities are very new, and the decor is a style I like. Coupled with the high floor and the open modern cityscape outside the window, the lounge's hardware is much better than the rooms. The lounge offers meals at three different times: breakfast, afternoon tea, and happy hour, with drinks available all day, and the quality of the beverages is very good, including fresh juices, coconut juice, etc.
Lounge afternoon tea: The afternoon tea is buffet-style, with not many styles, offering 5-6 types of desserts and savory items, plus several kinds of fruit, paired with drinks available all day. The goat cheese and scones taste okay, and the Moroccan mint tea is delicious.
Lounge happy hour: The happy hour drink menu is rich, with many types of base spirits, and about 6-7 cocktail options, only sparkling wine, no champagne. The snacks are quite varied, with about 7-8 types of small plates, including pork, chicken, and main dishes, as well as lemongrass chicken soup, which tastes good. The evening view from the lounge is also very nice.
Lounge breakfast: The main dishes are ordered a la carte, with bread, fruit, and sausages available buffet-style, all of good quality but in small portions. I tried everything on the menu, and it all tasted good, especially the beef noodle soup. Surprisingly, champagne was also provided for breakfast, which I don't understand why it wasn't offered during happy hour but was available for breakfast.
Room service: Ambassadors have a 600 Thai Baht credit, and I ordered a late-night snack, a shrimp pad thai with a glass of watermelon juice, totaling 750, with a personal payment of 150 Thai Baht. The shrimp were plentiful, delicate and pretty, and the taste was also quite good.
The gym: The area is not large, but the equipment is very complete and very clean, with towels and lemon water provided at the entrance.
The pool: Located on the same floor as the gym, it is a high-rise infinity pool. It's a bit small, but the view is great, and it's very photogenic.
The InterContinental Sukhumvit is located in the Thonglor district, which is very convenient for transportation and is surrounded by new buildings, giving it a very modern urban feel. Overall, the experience is quite excellent, with great service and lounge offerings. The only downside might be that the rooms are too small to live up to the InterContinental brand, but considering the excellent service and lounge offerings, it's still worth experiencing.
