If you are a carefree traveler and dislike a packed itinerary, it is recommended to rent a car in Cappadocia so we can explore the attractions at our own pace. One of the best place i visited in Cappadocia is Ihlara Valley. The view was INSANELY BEAUTIFUL. It is about 1 hour drive from Goreme. The entrance fee vary depends on season, getting the Cappadocia museum pass is the best trick because there’re a lot of outdoor museums here. You can also do trekking in Ihlara Valley (estimated about 2-3 hours for half course), while exploring the cave church remains along the river. But we only came down to take picture and go back up the stairs after spending about 40minutes in the valley. I wasn't expecting much here at first. But when the tour guide It is recommended that we walk hiking. After that, it's like an imaginary picture. It's very beautiful. It is a country with beautiful natural scenery. I am most impressed with Ihlara Valley because it has lovely little flowers🌸 , nice weather, green and clear skies. I would recommend you to come here. The history of the Ihlara Gorge can be traced back to the 4th century AD, when many Christians fled here to seek refuge in order to escape persecution from different religious groups. The canyon is about 15 kilometers long and contains more than 100 cave churches, some of which still retain complete frescoes. In the middle of the canyon, there is a water restaurant for tourists to rest and dine. Since we drove there ourselves, we had to return along the same route after the trip. The whole trip took about two and a half hours. This exploration was truly an unforgettable experience. I deeply admire the ancient people for their efforts to find a way to survive in extremely harsh environments. However, this was not the most challenging part of the trip. The next stop, a world heritage site, is in an extremely harsh environment. Turkey 🇹🇷 Ihlara Valley, UNESCO There is about a 1.5-hour drive from Uçhisar castle. It traces back to the 4th century AD, as a refuge for Christians fleeing religious persecution. Spanning 15 KM, the valley boasts 100+ cave churches, some with well-preserved frescoes. A waterside restaurant midway offers a rest stop. Walking ourselves means a return trip of around 2.5 hours. This journey was truly remarkable, admiring ancient people's resilience in harsh environments. Yet, this isn't the toughest part of the journey. The next UNESCO site is in an even harsher environment.

📍Turkiye Travel, Ihlara Valley I visited many tourist attractions and travel destinations during this trip, but it was an overwhelming sight that was hard to find such nature🥹 As a traveler who is more inspired by nature than civilization, this was a travel destination that left me 100% satisfied💚💚 Even if it is a bit difficult to trek the entire Ihlara Valley, I recommend that you walk through at least a part of the valley yourself. You will meet ten churches with beautiful paintings and designs inside and you will see a long history. And the air here is so good and comfortable, you need to let go of your stress and take a walk here. The entrance fee is ninety Turkish lira. #EuropeanTravel Eulala Valley, one of the green tour spots! I went there again this time through a rental car. Since I saw the balloons right before, I left early in the morning and arrived at 10-11, so there were really no people! After trekking for about 20 minutes, we arrived at a cafe and had a cup of tea. Wow.. It was so nice✨ There were ducks underfoot and it was quiet! The package was good, but it was nice to be able to feel this kind of leisure because it was separate.

#bucketlistreboot Ihlara Valley which is 16 kilometres long gorge and up to 150 metres deep, cut into volcanic rock in the southern part of Cappadocia is 83 kilometres 80 minutes drive from Goreme. It is part of the Cappadocia Green tour I book at my hotel. The bus will drop you at a certain point where you will enjoy a walking session along the river with your guide. The guide will point out some interesting attractions such as Agacalti cave church interior have some paintings from the 10 century. The whole canyon is honeycombed with rock cut underground dwellings. At the end of our walk, we have lunch at the restaurant.

Amazing valley that consists of a river and beautiful trees. Nice to walk in the natural. Worth to visit and highly recommend to take a tour if you wanna reach this place since it’s the easiest way. We had a guided tour of the region which included an approximately 4-km walk down the valley and along the river. It does not take much effort to reach the end of the walk track, you have to go down 100 stairs but once reached the bottom it is mostly flat until the exit. A 12km valley, one of the favorite retreats of the Byzantine monks, left a colorfully painted cave church, with more than 5,000 cave ruins and 105 cave churches. Although not as spectacular as the famous Grand Canyon, it still has a lot of charm, and it is very comfortable to walk in, especially in the dusty places of Kappa, streams, birds and lush vegetation. It is rare. After the strength is not big, it is light walking [smirking] but still some people are tired.
