Set off first|Fewer people than in the northeast!|Cheaper than Xinjiang to see the snow
When I arrived at Arxan in Inner Mongolia, I realized that the photos online are not filtered, but real. It is so beautiful, and it started snowing as soon as I got off the car! It was so romantic and touching! The main thing is that it is the off-season, so accommodation and everything is very cheap, and there are very few tourists!

Arxan in winter is a very unpopular tourist city, and the online guides are all over the place. I was lucky enough to make it through, and I will share with you the pitfalls I have encountered, hoping to help those of you who want to come here.

🚄About transportation:
✔️(Snow Country Train version) I flew from Shenzhen to Shenyang, and then took the green train (K7565) from Shenyang directly to Arxan, and I arrived after sleeping for one night! You can also see the Snow Country Train during the day, and every frame outside the window is beautiful!

✔️(Plane version) If you don't want to be too tired, you can choose to take a plane, which is in the neighboring Yiershi. Take a taxi to Arxan after getting off the plane, it is not very expensive.

❄️About playing
In winter, Arxan gets dark at around 3 o'clock, so you have to get up early, otherwise you won't be able to play much.
Day①: Rime Corridor (you can see rime after heavy snow) - Bailang Peak (sometimes open) - Deer Park Dear Inn (see deer, super photogenic, entrance 🎫50, carrot 20) - Bailang Town (you can citywalk in the town, and also had mutton soup)
-
Day②: Unfrozen River to watch the sunset (free viewing location 🔍 next to Laomama Mountain Treasure Hotel) ➖ Unfrozen River to watch cows drink water (starts at 9 o'clock, each household drives cows to drink water in turn, very photogenic) ➖ Wusulangzi Lake (there is a blue river on the way, also very photogenic, Langzi Lake is frozen, it is a white color, the same as the love letter) ➖ Yiershi Town (like the countryside in Japanese and Korean movies)
-
Day③: Wake up naturally, Arxan citywalk, check in Arxan Railway Station (the smallest railway station in China, the exterior is European style) ➖ Ski Resort (you can go if you like skiing) ➖ Snow Village (drank a few dollars of hot tea in the cafe, very healing)

⚠️Small TIPS:
✔️Self-driving is not recommended, driving in the snow is still a bit dangerous, but chartering a car is convenient (the charter driver needs to be selected)
✔️About accommodation, we stayed in the town for three days, winter is the off-season and very cheap (about 200💰) with heating all day, and the owner is also very enthusiastic
✔️About dining, there are not many open in the town (because it is the off-season, you have to look at the price, some stores have a high per capita), Forest Cabin BBQ, Hanfuji mutton, and Beijing mutton bone are all good
