#malaysia After spending a lot of time in Melaka walking it, it is so refreshing to know that you can take an evening swim after a long day out in the streets. Plus I think this may be one of the few hotels in Melaka that has a swimming pool available for their guest. This pool is also family friendly as there is a water playground with several slides and to play with for those under 12. (Big kids can’t 😭) The opening hours time forces you to plan your time well as it only operates between 9am to 7pm daily, so you are not able to do your early morning swims or late night ones as well.

#malaysia Ibis Melaka which is one of the most unique ibis in the world as it is hidden inside the Unesco world heritage side which is their Little India. The hotel is rather busy as the morning comes when Little India comes to life. The location is not too far from the old town and Jonker walk if you were to drive. The parking is rather generous as not a lot of occupants when we were there and there were a lot of lots. The ibis also has a pool and a gym. For many companies, they also chose to have their team building activities here for its location and the meeting rooms available for booking. The room is clean and presentable.

Went down to have breakfast at Ibis #malaka by 8.30am and its quite crowded. I thought the buffet spread will be little like budget hotel standard but again, they surprise me. There are many options to choose from local to western and chinese menu. All self service except for fishball noodle and egg station. I love their nuggets, crispy and tasty. #malaka is the best place to visit from Singapore when you are broke. Ibis Melaka has surprise me with unexpected quality. I got this for $54 a night and assigned in corner room 350. The room is quite spacious and clean. There are sufficient amenities in bathroom too. As accor+ silver member, I also got welcome drinks but too bad there is no alcohol drinks here. Ibis Malacca is located at Jalan Bendahara, Kampung Bukit China, Melaka. Staycation here 2 weeks ago, i booked this room at Trip.com when promotion and its just cost me RM 80+. The room was exceptionally clean with cozy ambience, bed was comfortable, well functional air-cond, certainly i had a good night's sleep. Buffet breakfast charged RM 29 nett, with variety of selection, overall was good (3.9/5). The swimming pool was crystal clear and quite big, gym room simple equipped but just nice for daily excercise. Strategic location allows easy access to main attractions, just 10-20 mins walking distance to The Stadthuys, A Famosa, Jonker Street and etc... First overseas trip after 2.5yrs. Melaka also counted right? ❤️ The most impromptu booking I’ve made for any hotel - only when leaving Singapore. 🫠 Booked a base room without any expectation because well, it’s an Ibis 🤷🏻‍♀️ After the 4 hours journey, thank goodness for my Accor Platinum which got us upgraded to a Suite at 11am 🎉 For $74++ a night I wasn’t expecting much but the space was actually quite nice! And clean! But bring your own slippers and toiletries okay 😂 The Ibis hospitality included a welcome note, efficient housekeeping, and a very cold room. Breakfast was buffet but erm quite bad. If you have to pay to breakfast, just don’t. 🙈 Location was great and within walking distance to Jonker Street where we found the best buttermilk biscuit ever by Hock Kee. 🐷

📍Ibis Melaka I tend to like the Ibis hotel chains, especially since they are generally new, modern, minimalistic and affordable. Ibis Melaka was lovely. Located centrally at the heart of Melaka, the location is a mere 5-minute walk from the famous Jonker Street and the Malacca River. As Accorhotel Gold Status members, we received a room upgrade. Service was efficient and fast, despite it being fully booked. We stayed for 2 nights, and we couldn't ask for better. Though the rooms may be small, it is designed efficiently to make the stay comfortable, with USB ports provided. There's a pool which certainly is a child's favourite, and an adequately equipped gym. Overall, if I do ever return to Melaka, I'd stick with Ibis. It has everything I would need for a trip to this Heritage town - comfortable clean beds, perfect accessibility to the main tourist hubs, adequately minimalistic and with great service.#beachlife

Every year My family and I will find a hotel or a few hotel to experience the ambience and food for iftar. Because of busy schedulle we managed to book a hotel in Malacca which is Ibis. We usually stayed here couple times and this time we tried the iftar and sahur. What I can say that all the food for iftar was awesome. I think the area quite enough for my small family and small stomach. Easy access to food, No need to wait or go far to grab all the delicious food. The 'Kambing Golek is nice, no heavy smell. The cakes are flluffy, delicious pasta and satay. In short we enjoy our iftar and sahur. Tq Ibis for having us here. Surely come again
