[2025 Ishioka Attraction] Travel Guide for IBARAKI FLOWER PARK (Updated Apr)

3.3
The park follows the concept of "coexistence with nature" and retains the original terrain features, allowing visitors to experience the unique landform rhythm of the Kanto Plain between the gentle slopes of the hills and the valley wetlands. The spring horticultural theater is the highlight of the park. More than 200 varieties of bulbous plants are laid out in a gradient color spectrum, from ivory white lily of the valley to crimson purple irises, and the flowers bloom in sequence to form a flowing color belt. The rose corridor in May adopts a three-dimensional trellis design, allowing visitors to walk between the 3-meter-high flower walls and observe the morphological differences of different rose varieties up close. The summer streamside garden introduces shade-tolerant plants. The hostas and astilbes on both sides of the stream stretch in the mottled light and shadow, retaining a cool visual breathing zone for the hot summer. Horticulturists regularly hold workshops to guide visitors to make moss jade micro-landscapes or pressed flower bookmarks, so that natural aesthetics can be integrated into daily life. The children's exploration area has a five-sense experience device, which can help you build an intuitive understanding of the ecosystem by touching the bark of different textures, smelling herbs, and observing insect hotels. The bird-watching tower in the northwest corner of the park is a hidden treasure, equipped with binoculars and bird atlases, and 67 species of migratory birds are recorded stopping here every year.
