However, I managed to book a basic suite using 9,500 points, equivalent to a value of 2,000 CNY. This represented exceptional value, comparable to the great deals I've found on hotels in Paris and Japan. Outside of peak season and major events, the hotel's base room rates are very affordable. Even during the summer holidays, with advance planning, you can find base rooms for around 800 CNY, which is an excellent deal. Service: 5/10 - Overall Impression: The level of service provided by staff members varied. As a Globalist member, I received enthusiastic service from the front desk manager, and the room upgrade process was smooth. As long as rooms are available, they are generally willing to upgrade to a suite. However, regular front desk staff sometimes seemed indifferent. When I inquired about room upgrades, they would simply decline if no rooms were available, lacking warmth and enthusiasm. - 💗Other Tips: Mention your membership status upon check-in for potentially better service and room upgrade opportunities. Dining: 6/10 - Restaurant Options: The hotel offers a Western buffet restaurant, a Chinese restaurant, and a hot pot buffet. - Breakfast Experience: The breakfast selection was standard, with decent flavors. Popular attractions like Huaguoyuan and Qingyun Market are accessible by taxi, but traffic can be heavy, resulting in longer travel times. - Design Style: The lobby is grand and impressive, decorated with traditional Miao silver ornaments. The crystal chandeliers resemble Miao headdresses, adding a unique touch. Guests can also dress up in Miao costumes and take photos against a backdrop, free of charge. Kweichow Moutai has a display area in the lobby, showcasing local specialties. - Outdoor Scenery: The hotel features a miniature replica of Huangguoshu Waterfall in its outdoor garden, which is open at set times. It's quite a spectacle. On pleasant days, enjoying tea at the outdoor teahouse in the garden is a delightful experience. - 🧹Soundproofing/Cleanliness: The overall hygiene is excellent. Conclusion The Zhongtian Guiyang Hyatt Regency, the only Hyatt hotel in Guizhou Province, is a long-standing luxury hotel. The owners clearly put effort into its management, but there's still room for improvement. If the price is right, it's a good value option for both business and leisure travelers in Guiyang. Hopefully, the hotel will continue to improve its services, update its facilities, and enhance its overall quality.

Check in at the only Hyatt hotel in Guizhou. The hotel is located next to Guanshan Lake Park, less than 10 minutes' walk from Guizhou Provincial Museum and only 15 minutes' walk from the administrative center and CBD. It can be said to be very suitable for business guests. However, it is some distance away from Guiyang's traditional city center, and it takes about 35 minutes by taxi to reach the fountain, which is not very convenient for tourists. The hotel was designed by the famous architect Takayuki Ito. The lobby is a connection between the first floor, the second floor and the underground floor, which is very impressive. At the same time, large floor-to-ceiling glass windows are arranged to enhance lighting, and the silver chandelier in the center is inspired by the clothes and accessories of local Miao women in Guizhou, which is very consistent with the local characteristics of Guizhou. Because I am a global guest, I was upgraded to the Hyatt Suite, which is about 84 square meters in size. The design of the whole room is very square, with floor-to-ceiling glass windows opposite and on the left side of the living room, providing very good lighting during the day. The bedroom is very simply decorated, with no extra complicated details other than large areas of wood panels. It is basically the standard decoration template of Hyatt more than ten years ago. The bathing space is also very spacious. The designer brought together functional areas such as the cloakroom and toilet, and placed the washbasin in the middle, forming a very clever U-shaped design, which can minimize the loss of space. The hotel's wellness center and spa are located in another independent building and can be reached through the corridor on the second floor of the south wing. The gym is open to hotel guests 24 hours a day, but if you use it outside the hours of 6 a.m. to 11 p.m., you need to notify the staff in advance. The swimming pool is open from 6 am to 10 pm. The pool is kept at a constant temperature and is very comfortable to swim in. There is also a massage pool next to the pool. The high ceiling, luxurious chandeliers, and attentive staff make you feel at home instantly. ☆ The room I stayed in is spacious and bright The decor is exquisite. The bedding is very comfortable, giving me a good night's sleep. The room also has a great view, allowing you to enjoy the city's scenery 🏙. The facilities are complete, from the coffee machine to the bathtub 🛁, every detail is thoughtfully considered. ☆ The hotel's restaurant offers a wide variety of food choices The breakfast has a wide range of options, both Chinese and Western, catering to different tastes 🥞. ①Hotel Location⭐⭐⭐⭐ The hotel seems to be in a new district, a quiet place amidst the hustle and bustle. There's a HEYTEA nearby and a Zhongshuge bookstore under construction, with plenty of dining options around. It's a half-hour taxi ride from the airport to the hotel, and there's a subway station about 700 meters away, the International Conference Center Station. Since we rented a car, we didn't take the subway, so I can't comment on that. It's 14 kilometers to Jiaxiu Tower, about half an hour by taxi. ②Dining⭐⭐⭐⭐ The hotel breakfast is discounted, originally priced at 168 yuan, now 100 yuan per person. I heard it's decent. Four stars because there are plenty of places to eat nearby. 🔺Recommended: Zizhou Tower serves Shunde Cantonese cuisine, which is quite tasty! They open for morning tea at 11 am, perfect for a late riser! Recommended dishes include red sausage, black gold shrimp dumplings, sesame balls, fried dough sticks, all of which are quite good. The snow mei niang is just so-so, and the tofu dessert, which is served for free, is very refreshing. 🔺A bit of a letdown: Lao Kaili Sour Soup Fish There's one nearby, a non-heritage shop. It's not that it tastes bad, just that we're not used to it. However, the same sour soup with beef is delicious. We chose the yellow croaker, which was quite nice. The tofu balls made me vomit as soon as I ate them, no idea why. I'm an adventurer, and the hotel upgraded me one level to the Jiabinxuan floor, but with no special treatment. There's a Renaissance hotel nearby for 660 yuan per night. If I weren't challenging the Global Guest, I probably would have stayed at the Renaissance. As a Silver Elite, I might have been upgraded to a suite with breakfast included. 🔺I must mention that Marriott's app is quite good (I used to complain that the app was too slow). The main advantage is convenient communication; you can say whatever you need on the app. With Hyatt's, you can only talk one way, and I've mentioned a few things several times with no response, which is frustrating. This needs to be improved. 🔺Pros: Free parking, I really like the amenities, they're very comfortable to use, and I love the scent of the body lotion. The overall style is quite comfortable.

The room facilities are very new, hardly showing any signs of wear despite the hotel being open for 10 years, looking newer than many that have only been open for 2 years, which shows that the maintenance is indeed well done. 3. Upon entering, the guest bathroom is on the left, with a single basin design. The dining area and the reception area in the living room are separate, with the dining table also serving as a desk. The bar is integrated at the back, with a reasonable design, equipped with a capsule coffee machine and TG tea bags, which are a higher grade compared to the usual Hyatt generic tea bags. 4. There are several Miao silver decorations in the living room, highlighting the local characteristics, and electric curtains have been installed, which, combined with the full-length windows, feel quite impressive. 5. The bedroom has a welcome setup with lots of fresh flowers, allowing for a petal bath in the evening. The bedding is very comfortable, with a slightly brushed texture. 6. The bathroom has a sense of design, with double basins facing each other, allowing two people to wash face to face, and the faucets are also a less common design. 7. The bathtub faucet is from the high-end Hansgrohe series, but the bathtub style is quite old. Although the size is sufficient, the depth is too shallow, making it difficult to fully immerse in a bath. 8. The shower system also uses a high-end model from Hansgrohe. This is my first time using it, and the overhead shower has three adjustable water modes, with a large water volume and a comfortable body feel, which is commendable. Overall, the living experience is quite comfortable, except for the bathtub, which is not as satisfying as the one in Renaissance.

Compared with the Guihang Sheraton I stayed in before, Guiyang Zhongtian Hyatt is really much stronger. Indeed, there is no harm without comparison, and it becomes more outstanding under the contrast of peers. Zhongtian Hyatt is not located in the old city area, next to it is the Guanshan Lake scenic area, the surrounding environment is very good. Before checking in, I received a phone call from the hotel to greet me, and was informed that the room has been upgraded to a suite. The Hyatt Global Guest is really generous. At the same price, both hardware and software are much stronger than Guihang Sheraton. The breakfast is also very rich, the overall cost performance is very good👍
