▫️ 'Hwagae Mountain Observatory' is an observatory inspired by the endangered 'Eurasian Sparrow'. And the place where Hwagae Garden is located is said to be the place of exile of King Yeonsangun of the Joseon Dynasty. There is also a place that recreates the place of exile, so please take a look.
▫️Hwagae Garden is pretty, so it would be good to go up a little and take a picture.
▫️If you go up at sunset, you can enjoy a really pretty sunset, so it is recommended as a day trip near Seoul.
✔️The entrance fee includes walking up to the observatory from Hwagae Garden! If you find it burdensome to walk to the observatory, you can take the monorail, which costs 12,000 won for both adults and children. It departs every hour and there is a waiting line, so please get a monorail ticket after entering and tour the garden.
✔️There is a procedure for entering and exiting the Military Demarcation Line, but you can enter after filling out a simple application form. You can enter with a QR code, but just in case, it would be good to bring your ID.
