The open-air bath also has hot water and lukewarm water, so you can soak in whichever suits you best. It was also featured in Laid-Back Camp, but the view of the Kofu Basin and Mt. Fuji from the open-air bath was spectacular! (No photos available as photography is prohibited inside the hot spring.)

I finally got to go to the hot spring that Sho-kun went to in Arashi ni Shiyagare~ Apparently there is a "Second Hot Spring" and a "City Hot Spring", and this time I went to "Second Hot Spring"~ Next time I have to go to "City Hot Spring"!! I couldn't take pictures in the hot spring, but the sunrise over Mt. Fuji looked very beautiful🗻 It was worth getting up early in the middle of winter!! It's deep in the mountains so access isn't that good, maybe? But it's definitely worth going, so I hope everyone will go too~ As expected, it was most crowded around 5-6am before sunrise, but maybe because it was a weekday it wasn't that crowded, and once it was past the peak at 7am, my friends and I had a private party in the open-air bath + changing room♪ By the way, at "Second Hot Spring", there is a hat that appears on Kasa Jizo, and if you wear it, you won't have any problems with sunburn!! For breakfast, we had egg on rice, which is apparently famous at Hottarakashi Onsen! ! The photo doesn't look good at all, but eating egg on rice while looking at Mt. Fuji was amazing. In the morning, it opens one hour before the sunrise. The opening time in March was 5:30. The opening time varies from month to month. The end time is 22:00 and the reception is until 21:30. It is said to be twice as large as "Kocchi no Yu". ⭐Kocchi no Yu⭐ It is a small bath, but it is divided into a warm bath and a hot bath. When the weather is good, you can see Mt. Fuji right in front of you. The night view is narrower than "Acchi no Yu", but you can see it from the upper bath. This bath is the original bath. It is not open at sunrise. The fee for each bath is 900 yen for adults. If you want to visit both, the fare will be 1,800 yen. You can access them by car or a 10-minute taxi ride from Yamanashi City Station. #2024wish Beautiful views with a nice hot soak. Three pools in the ladies area, with one indoors, and two out. Tattoo friendly, and definitely worth the visit. There’s an awesome and funny terrycloth towel for sale, if you’re spur of the moment, and everything else you’ll need for a good soak and shower. Highly recommended by this gaigin. I love it! One of the best onsen experience I have had so far. We arrived around 3pm and it is not busy at all. Just the right time for sunset. There are two separate pools at two levels looking over mt Fuji. It is magnificent. The facilities are clean and well maintained. There are bath towels to be purchased at the entrance at a very reasonable price. Lots of fresh food to enjoy after onsen too. The onsen is located high up in the mountain. It is a bit hard to get to Becareful when driving in the dark. #freehotelstay #mtfuji #Onsen #Japan
