[2025 Seoul Stay] Travel Guide for Hotel Kukdo (Updated May)

#Korea Accommodation 2024 I would like to introduce the "Hotel Kukdo" that I used on this trip to Seoul, as it was so amazing♪ When I arrived at Incheon Airport, I immediately purchased a ticket for the airport limousine bus. I took the 6015 bound for Myeongdong and headed to the hotel. Why did I take the limousine bus and not the AREX to get to Seoul city? Because the bus stop is right in front of the hotel. After about 70-80 minutes of being shaken by the bus, I arrived at the stop right in front of the hotel. I picked up my suitcase and headed to the hotel. What an easy trip~♡ When I entered the hotel, I was greeted by a cute Christmas tree. There was a pharmacy and a convenience store on the right. There was a front desk at the top of the escalator on the left, so I checked in and headed to my room. I stayed in a standard twin room, and the room was more than spacious enough. It was an older hotel, but it had a clean image. The mirror in the sink was long and large, which was very helpful for two girls. I left my luggage and headed to the city! First, we walked to Gwangjang Market. It was about a 10-minute walk. We could also get to Seongsu, Hangangjin, Itaewon, and Anguk by subway, which was right next to the hotel. We could also get to Myeongdong and Dongdaemun by city bus, which was also right next to the hotel. By the way, the Weather Companion Card was very useful. We traveled a lot over the 3 days and 2 nights, and the location was really great and it was very helpful♪ On the day of our return, we also took the airport limousine bus from the bus stop right in front of the hotel to get to Incheon Airport♡

From the window you can see the offices in the building next door. Chick in is on the second floor! Breakfast and dinner are also available here! There is a small shop and drug store on the first floor! Maybe it’s because of the heavy snow in winter that they all fall asleep very early! Turn left at the entrance and there is a shopping street. The first underground passage you go down is the Euljiro underground shopping street. You can walk all the way to Euljiro 3rd-ga and the intersection with Euljiro to Myeongdong! Very suitable for walking and strolling in winter! The hotel rooms are not big and the style is very old. But the bed is comfortable, neat and clean, no toothbrush or other supplies are provided! Available at the convenience store on the first floor! Hotels in countries where it traditionally snows in winter will prepare deeper bathtubs! The bathtub is not big, but deep enough. Take a hot bath before bed at night! It will be warm to sleep! What we find special is that the bed has a platform, which can not only be used to take beautiful photos for the internet, but also to flatten two large and one small suitcases! It is a very convenient space for shopping trips in Korea! The room also has four large wardrobes, providing great storage space for guests staying for more than a week. The airport bus stop is right in front of the hotel! The bus from Incheon International Airport to the hotel stops right in front of the hotel, so you won't get lost, and you can enter the hotel without having to cross the road or go up and down stairs with your carry-on. You can also get on the bus from the hotel to Incheon International Airport from the same bus stop, and if it's empty, you'll arrive at Incheon International Airport in about an hour. ◎Convenient for traveling within Seoul! Subway: The nearest station is Euljiro 4-ga Station! Lines 2 and 5 run through the hotel, so you can go to Myeongdong (Euljiro 1-ga Euljiro I-ik), Dongdaemun, and Seongsu without changing trains. Even if you are staying multiple nights, you can request cleaning by pressing the button in the room, and the room will be cleaned, and towels and plastic bottles of water for the number of people in the refrigerator will be replenished, so you can spend every day comfortably. ◎Bathroom Although it is a unit bath, there is a large bathtub that can be filled with hot water and where you can stretch your legs, which is very nice on cold days or when your feet have been walking a lot. The sink is separate from the bathroom, and there is a large mirror and space where 3-4 adults can sit side by side, making it convenient for everyone to get ready at the same time. ◎Luggage storage There is a place to store suitcases and a hanger closet. There are also two drawer storage places, under the TV and in the closet. The TV stand/desk is long and convenient for charging your smartphone and placing small items. *The closet and the dressing room can be separated by a sheer curtain, which is less oppressive than a door and allows for more efficient use of the space. However, if you don't want people to see you changing clothes, you will need to change in the bathroom. The twin room is 28㎡, so there is plenty of room even if two people spread out their suitcases. The closet is easy to use, and it's easy to organize when going out. The bathroom counter is also wide, so there is plenty of room for two people to spread out their skin care sets. You can use both Euljiro 4th and 3rd streets, and Myeongdong is within walking distance (for those who like to walk) in about 20 minutes... Points to consider when choosing a hotel: I'm staying with a friend for three nights, so I want a place with enough space for both of us to relax. A bathtub, as walking can be tiring. A place where you can flush toilet paper. The reason I chose Hotel Kokuto is that the sink is outside the bathroom! Even if one of us is in the toilet or bath, we can brush our teeth or put on makeup. It's nice to have personal space.

It was very spacious, stylish and cute, and there was no problem with the kitchen, refrigerator, or microwave, so I was able to enjoy my time at the hotel very much! It was a wonderful place! It was also great that there was a convenience store and cafe nearby!

#August Travel Support Event Hotel Kukdo where I stayed for one night during my trip to Seoul. It was in front of Euljiro 4-ga Station, so it was easy to find even without a car. All the staff were friendly. It was a 3-star hotel, so the facilities were good. The rooms were quite spacious, and there was a free gym inside the hotel, so I used it well. There is a convenience store (they give out freebies) and a pharmacy (closes early). The receptionist and hotel cleaners can speak Japanese. There is a ladies-only floor, so women staying alone can feel safe. However, the walls are quite thin, so you can hear a lot of noise from next door. Depending on the room, there is only one Japanese-style outlet at the sink. So it's a good idea to bring a converter with you. The toilets in the rooms have an automatic flushing function and are not much different from those in Japan. Overall, it is clean and very nice. There are no toothbrush amenities, so you must bring your own.

I felt that it was easy to access any area. It's right next to Exit 10 of Euljiro 4-ga Station, so even if I came home tired or it was raining, I could quickly get to the subway. There is also a convenience store inside the hotel. There was a bathtub and amenities available. The Wow Pass machine was also conveniently located in front of the front desk. The receptionist was very warm in welcoming guest in the lobby. Even though I didn’t make up my room everyday, the cleaning lady still place new towels and new bottles of water at the door everyday. Great service to the customers! Some of the lifts didn’t need the room card to press the upper floors which is quite flawed as anyone could have access those floors.

The hotel staff spoke Japanese and it was close to the station, which was great! I could get to the airport with just one bus! I'd love to use it again!

I stayed there for a very cheap price because of a campaign, and the people in the lobby were fluent in Japanese, and the bathroom had a bathtub so it was very comfortable! It's one minute from Euljiro Saga Station, which is on lines 2 and 5, and the limousine bus stops right in front of it (^^) There's a Starbucks nearby, and a convenience store on the first floor of the hotel. It's conveniently located near Dongdaemun, Myeongdong, and other tourist sites. Some of the hotel staff could speak a little Japanese. I was a woman traveling alone, but I was able to use the hotel with peace of mind. I think some foreign tourists get a Wow Pass, but there is a machine at the hotel front desk, so it might be good for those who don't want to rush around at the station. I could see Namsan Tower from my room.
