Bon Senga is a retro cafe and bakery we found in Toyohashi, Aichi. You can enjoy the bread and sweets you choose at the bakery at the cafe. The bread packaging is retro, and the cafe's decorations are also filled with a retro pop atmosphere. This time, we had Papillo (178 yen), Lemon Cookie (210 yen), and Iced Coffee (430 yen). The cafe space has three tables and six counter seats. Bon Senga was founded in 1912 as a confectionery wholesaler, and took on its current form in 1979. It's my first time here, but it feels nostalgic. This is a recommended retro pop cafe and bakery. Business hours are from 10:00 to 21:00 (subject to change). I was able to get a sticker during the store manager's event on the 1st. Pirene-san has just started working and will be the store manager on 10/1 and 10/2. I stayed at the Loisir Hotel in Toyohashi, Aichi Prefecture. You can also use the parking lot for free. It seems to be an old hotel, and the faucets, showers, and other water features are somehow nostalgic. The price is low and the cost performance is good, so it can be said to be a value hotel. Toyohashi curry udon! Toyohashi curry udon is made with rice, grated yam, curry udon, quail, and fukujinzuke or tsubozuke on the bottom. Kodomo Miraikan Kokoniko Located at 1 Matsuba-cho 3-chome, Toyohashi City, Aichi Prefecture, it is a 10-minute walk from the east exit of Toyohashi Station. This facility provides children with the opportunity to grow up healthy through fun play and interactions with various people. The grass is green and sunflowers bloom in the summer. [Kawashige] Kanagawa: 2 minutes walk from Kamakura Station | Shirasu bowl (¥ 1380) A quaint Japanese-style exterior in a good location just after entering Komachi Street. Soba seems to be a popular restaurant, but I ordered a shirasu bowl that I really wanted to eat, and it was very quick to serve. Comes with pickles, simmered dishes, and soup. When fried in a pot, the green onions were very good and I ate them in no time! !! There was also a women-only menu that included a mini bowl and soba, so I wanted to eat that too ... !!!! Aizen Myo-o from the Kamakura period was restored and transported back to Toyohashi Akaiwa-ji Temple from Kyoto in the spring of 2024. You can see Aizen Myo-o mostly in the Kinki area. It has a long history, having been built by Makino Kobaku as early as 1505. It was repeatedly attacked by the Imagawa, Tokugawa, and Takeda clans. In 1590, Ikeda Terumasa was enfeoffed here, and after his vigorous development, he built a castle with a territory of 152,000 koku. However, after the Battle of Sekigahara, Ikeda Terumasa was transferred to Himeji Castle in Harima. Although small daimyo were subsequently enfeoffed, there was no further large-scale expansion. 🏰The most intuitive thing about Yoshida Castle is its architectural style. The castle walls are traditional Japanese castle style, with blue tiles and white walls, which look particularly imposing in the sunlight.
