Hoshino KAI Hotel.
Izu|A seaside hotel - Hoshino KAI (with hot springs♨️|||I've been wanting to stay at a Hoshino Resort hotel for a long time! I finally got the chance to check in at my first one in Ito~~ It was a great experience! This Hoshino Resort hotel is themed around sailing, and both the public areas and rooms are full of nautical elements. The hotel is located in Ito City, about a 5-minute taxi ride from the station. If you don't like the various Japanese-style hot spring hotels in Izu, Hoshino KAI is also a great choice!

The room is quite large and well laid out, with a floor-to-ceiling window facing the sea, perfect for reading a book or relaxing. The hotel doesn't have private baths, but there are indoor and outdoor public baths on the top floor, which are clean and comfortable. We only stayed for one night and went twice, and there weren't many people there, so it was very comfortable and refreshing! In the evening, there is a small documentary about the history of sailing in the hotel lobby. The front desk staff speak good English and can help you call a taxi.

Ito is a very quiet little city, in stark contrast to the hustle and bustle of Tokyo, and there are very few young people on the streets. We took a quick stroll around and then went to Shuzenji. There are buses near the hotel, but you have to check the schedule carefully, as you'll have to wait a long time if you miss one.

After staying at a traditional Japanese hot spring hotel in Izu, I still prefer the comfort of Hoshino Resort, which is also very cost-effective. I highly recommend it!
