I was excited to try it for the first time! 😆 Immediately after checking in, I was guided to a special room at the back of the hotel lobby and tried it! The staff explained it to me, so I was able to do it with confidence even though it was my first time! Just turn the lever and the camellia oil comes out of the hole at the bottom! It was easy even for a woman to do it 💪 The ​​extracted oil can be put in a small bottle and taken as a souvenir 🎁 From the second floor where the experience room is located, you can see a beautiful courtyard, and it was a great time. This Hoshino Resort hotel is themed around sailing, and both the public areas and rooms are full of nautical elements. The hotel is located in Ito City, about a 5-minute taxi ride from the station. If you don't like the various Japanese-style hot spring hotels in Izu, Hoshino KAI is also a great choice! - The room is quite large and well laid out, with a floor-to-ceiling window facing the sea, perfect for reading a book or relaxing. The hotel doesn't have private baths, but there are indoor and outdoor public baths on the top floor, which are clean and comfortable. We only stayed for one night and went twice, and there weren't many people there, so it was very comfortable and refreshing! In the evening, there is a small documentary about the history of sailing in the hotel lobby. The front desk staff speak good English and can help you call a taxi. - Ito is a very quiet little city, in stark contrast to the hustle and bustle of Tokyo, and there are very few young people on the streets.
