"Check in at Hongshan Park in Urumqi: A Poetic Painting in the City."
"Check in at Hongshan Park in Urumqi: A Poetic Painting in the City"
In the heart of Urumqi, Hongshan Park is like a green treasure, lying quietly on the east bank of the Urumqi River. It is a natural mountain park, where classical charm and natural beauty blend perfectly, like a giant dragon lying across the land, with an extraordinary aura. Its dragon head faces the river, and the steepness of the mountain and the grandeur of its aura make it a distinctive landmark and symbol of Urumqi.
Stepping into Hongshan Park is like entering a world full of human warmth and charm. Every plant and tree here exudes vitality, and every corner has a story. The unique feature of the park is that it offers a unique visual feast. You can witness the mesmerizing sunset, when the afterglow spills over the mountains, and the magnificent golden mountain-like scenery unfolds before your eyes, a generous gift from nature to visitors.
When visiting Hongshan Park, keep these tips in mind. It is best to enter the park in the morning to avoid the crowds and enjoy its beauty in peace. A pair of comfortable shoes is a must, as climbing the mountain and enjoying the scenery requires both physical strength and comfort. If you visit in the hot summer, sun protection is essential, so don't let UV rays ruin your good mood.
It is worth mentioning that most of Hongshan Park is free to enter, with only the Yuetiao Building charging a fee, while other attractions are free to visit. The amusement facilities are also reasonably priced, ranging from CNY 20 to 60, adding a lot of fun to your visit. The park is open until 11 pm in summer, and the evening is the golden time to visit. As the sun sets, the afterglow gives the park a golden veil, and strolling through it, whether it is the pavilions or the flowers and trees, has a unique flavor. Hongshan Park is like a slowly unfolding poetic painting, waiting for every visitor to savor and treasure.

Red Hill Park.
Walking through the streets and alleys of Urumqi, the autumn atmosphere is everywhere. From the high-tech Urumqi Cultural Center to the quaint alleys, from the fashionable modern buildings to the old streets full of charm, you can feel the pulse of culture everywhere.
Splendid natural landscape
What is the most exciting thing about this holiday? Of course, it is the fireworks show on National Day. In the crowd, the bright Chinese red is flying all over the sky. In the sound of the fireworks, you can feel the fireworks and the prosperous chapter. "There were really a lot of people that night, but everyone was in order. Someone took the lead in waving the national flag, and everyone sang "I Love You China" in unison." said citizen Li Wenli. When the words "I Love You China" rolled up on the buildings around the West Bridge, she couldn't help but burst into tears, and her heart was surging with emotion-this is our beloved motherland, this is our life in Urumqi. If the Urumqi on National Day night is a grand carnival for citizens, then in the next few days, Urumqi's convenient measures for guests will make everyone's travel more enjoyable. The major parks are like a splendid autumn oil painting, slowly unfolding.
Shuimogou Park, the autumn is strong. The leaves gradually dyed golden and red, as if they were masterpieces outlined by the magic brush of nature. Walking in it, the breeze is blowing, with a hint of coolness, but it makes people feel more comfortable. The clear Shuimogou River is gurgling, the koi is swimming happily in the water, and the wild ducks are swimming on the water as if no one is there. People stop to watch, while busy taking pictures of the scenery, they don't know that they have also become a part of the scenery, and become a vivid stroke in this pleasant picture.
Red Hill Park, tourists look far away under the Red Hill Tower. Red Hill Park is another scene. Some people climb up along the winding mountain road, and some people want to take a shortcut to climb up the steps. When they arrive at the statue of Lin Zexu, they naturally feel the vicissitudes of history. Standing on the top of Red Hill, thinking that I am standing with Red Hill Tower at this time, that kind of pride is a kind of pride from the heart. Overlooking the entire city, high-rise buildings and forest belts and roads reflect each other, and the bustling streets tell the vitality of this city. The distant mountains are undulating, and you can see the Bogda Peak in the clear autumn sky, as if guarding Urumqi. The beauty of nature makes people forget about it. Cai Xinjun, who returned to Urumqi from Shenzhen to visit relatives, said, "Five years later, I climbed the Red Mountain again. Everything in my hometown made me feel cordial. The changes in Urumqi are amazing."

Traveling on a budget in Urumqi Red Hill Park.
Location: Urumqi Red Hill Park
Tag: Free! It is a comprehensive park integrating natural landscapes, cultural landscapes, and leisure and entertainment!
On September 29, 2024, Sunday, the sun gently sprinkled on the earth, and Red Hill Park was like a gorgeous picture scroll slowly unfolding. As soon as you enter the park, the fresh air hits your face, making you feel refreshed instantly.
Walking along the winding path, the trees on both sides are colorful, as if nature has overturned the palette. The leaves sway gently in the breeze, making a rustling sound, as if telling the story of autumn.
Climbing up the Red Mountain, overlooking the beautiful scenery of the entire city, a heroic feeling surged in my heart. The distant high-rise buildings and the nearby lakes and green trees set off each other, forming a picture of modern and natural harmonious coexistence. The hustle and bustle of the city gradually fades away at this moment, leaving only inner peace and tranquility.
The lake in the park is like a mirror, reflecting the blue sky and white clouds and the surrounding scenery. The lake is clear and bottomless, and occasionally you can see fish playing in the water. The weeping willows by the lake are swaying, and the willow branches are dancing in the wind, adding a soft beauty to the lake.
Walking in Red Hill Park, feeling the breath of autumn, every scene is intoxicating. There is no fast pace of the bustling city here, only the tranquility and beauty of nature. Whether it is to spend a happy time with family or to enjoy a moment of tranquility alone, Red Hill Park is an excellent choice.
On this beautiful autumn day, why not come to Red Hill Park, immerse yourself in the embrace of nature, and feel the beauty and tranquility of life.

Sunset at Hongshan Park in Urumqi.
I had the opportunity to visit Hongshan Park on a business trip to Xinjiang and watch the sunset. I also managed to capture a poor man's version of the sunrise over the Golden Mountain haha! Enter from the south gate of Hongshan Park and walk up the steps for about 10 minutes to reach the viewing platform. The view is really great when the weather is good!

Urumqi city center, Citizens' Leisure Park
🚇 Hongshan Park is a bit far from the nearest Xinxing Street subway station, so taking a taxi is a good option 🚖
🏕 Tourists mainly visit the North Park, with two entrance options: the East Gate and the South Gate. The East Gate is street-facing and suitable for quick stops, while the South Gate has a large parking lot and a food court 🅿️
🎒 There are self-service lockers at the entrance, and I chose a medium-sized locker for my backpack, costing 4 yuan per hour 💰
⛰️ The park was originally a barren mountain with red rocks. Local military and civilians carried soil to create the forest, resulting in this beautiful citizens' leisure park. At the South Gate entrance, there is a statue of two hardworking builders and a little girl with a red scarf carrying soil. The stone tablet beside them bears the words 'Greening by predecessors, happiness for future generations' 🌳
🎡 The main attractions include Hongshan Tower, boating on South Lake, Lin Zexu Memorial Statue, and Longquan Pavilion. There is a separate fee for the tower, and the viewing platform offers a panoramic view of the city. Large amusement rides like the Ferris wheel are not in operation 🚧
🎠 It's just a large citizens' leisure park, not recommended for tourists to visit specifically. Suggested visiting time is 1~2 hours ⏰️
🧋 After visiting the park, you can dine and rest at CC MALL Times Square across the street, a very artistic and fashionable mall 🛍

Hongshan Park in Urumqi
Hongguangshan Grand Buddha Temple is located near Kazibay in the north of Urumqi, on Hongguang Mountain. The temple complex is the largest Han Chinese Buddhist temple in Northwest China. The main buildings include the Hall of Heavenly Kings, the Mahavira Hall, the Guanyin Hall, and the Ksitigarbha Hall.
The mountain gate of the Grand Buddha Temple is 17 meters wide and 15.6 meters high, grand and majestic. The front side features the inscription 'Great Compassion to Awaken the World' by Zhang Cangshu, Vice Chairman of the Xinjiang Calligraphers Association, while the back side features the inscription 'Great Compassion for the World' by calligrapher Min Yinnan.
From the mountain gate, one can descend slowly along 88 wide bluestone steps, flanked by white marble carved railings. Below the steps, on a lotus pedestal, are a pair of Buddha footprints, known as the Buddha Foot Altar.
The Shakyamuni Buddha on Hongguang Mountain was first constructed on July 19, 2002, and completed at the end of 2004, taking two years to build. It is acclaimed as the 'largest standing bronze gilded Buddha in the Western Regions,' with a total height of 40.8 meters, a diameter of 14 meters, a Buddha hand height of 5.7 meters, and Buddha ears reaching 2.6 meters.
The Buddha statue was meticulously crafted by artisans using brass, with a total copper usage of 98 tons and a total investment of 9.5 million yuan. It is said to be the third-largest standing bronze gilded Shakyamuni Buddha statue in Asia.
Behind the Shakyamuni Buddha statue is a complex of buildings covering an area of about 30,000 square meters. The temple faces east and west, with main structures including the Mahavira Hall, the Hall of Five Hundred Arhats, the Thousand-Hand Guanyin Hall, the Ksitigarbha Hall, the Bell and Drum Tower, and side rooms. The architectural style is generally consistent with inland Han Chinese Buddhist temples.
Hongshan Park Scenic Area is a comprehensive natural mountain park integrating tourism, classical features, cultural connotations, and physical fitness. It is a national 4A-level tourist attraction and one of the new top ten scenic spots in Urumqi.

As soon as you enter the gate of Hongshan, you can see a sculpture, which is built to commemorate the hard-working people!
Next, let's go to see the tallest building in Urumqi--Zhongtian Square! Zhongtian Square is a high-end building integrating office buildings, commercial residences, and leisure and entertainment. Looking from a distance, it stands like a pillar in the center of the city, like a giant, supporting the sky. Zhongtian Square is located in the busiest Xiaoximen area of Urumqi, where there are crowds of people and a constant flow of vehicles, becoming a highlight of Urumqi.
In the blink of an eye, it's night, let's go and enjoy the night view of Urumqi! The night view of Urumqi is dazzling, colorful, like a fairy tale world. The colorful neon lights flash out colorful glows, making Urumqi a city that never sleeps.

is the commanding height of the Eastern Tianshan Mountains.
And in the viewfinder of Hongshan,
it has become the background of the entire Urumqi city area🏔️

It is best to arrive at the viewing tower or viewing platform 30 minutes in advance.
The east gate is easier to climb, there are no stairs, about 10 minutes.

We always say that the winter in the north is wrapped in shackles, and the frozen people do not pay for their lives, but only those who have actually been to Xinjiang can feel the unique beauty here. There is warm sunshine, blue sky and snow in winter, and picturesque scenery. You will not be able to move your eyes and not move.
This is the landmark of Urumqi, Hongshan Park. Maybe the summer scenery is not comparable to the mainland, but the winter is definitely better.
The formation of Hongshan Park, there is also an ancient legend, and the tower on this mural is also built by legend, named: Zhenlong Pagoda .
Walk on the promenade, if you can't see the shadow of snow, in the winter, see this sunny, you are in the south rainy Will it be fascinating?
This trip is also very popular, in order to commemorate the achievements of Lin Zexu, not only the statue of Lin Zexu, but also the anti-drug copper tripod, also because Therefore, Hongshan has become the first anti-drug education base in Xinjiang, with far-reaching significance.
This is the Zhenlong Pagoda, which was built in 1788. It has been standing here for 231 years, guarding this sacred land.
standing here, you can overlook the complete view of Urumu, I always remember, when someone asked me, people in Xinjiang are riding to school, Niu Yangcheng Group, look, what is the difference in this city? It is even cleaner and cleaner than we think. If it's summer, greening is better than many cities in the mainland.

Red Mountain Sunset Photo: Hongshan Mountain is named after the Permian purple red glutenite. It is commonly known as Hongshanzui and is now a park for ordinary citizens to enjoy daily entertainment.
The Red Mountain Sunset has always been regarded as the most representative landscape in Urumqi it is an attraction that foreign tourists can't miss in Urumqi.
Located in the heart of the city, the overlooking the top of the hill overlooks the whole of Urumqi. You can also choose to sit on the top of the Ferris wheel near the top of the mountain.

Hongshan Park is a landmark park in Urumqi. It is named after a crimson mountain composed of purple glutenite and is a good place to overlook Urumqi.
10 is the symbol of Hongshan. The pagoda was built during the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty. It was said that the Urumqi River flooded and the local military and political leaders built the road to appease the people. This "town dragon pagoda". The statue of Lin Zexu, the national hero of Humens cigarette sales, is next to the Hongshan Tower. After the defeat of the Opium War, Lin Zexu was defamed to Xinjiang and made a career here.
ZIMO.
Hongshan Park Located in the center of the city, not far from the airport bus, the park does not require tickets and belongs to the public park. Into the park, the greening is very good, the water is being automatically watered, and the air is cool. Compared with the outside, the park is so comfortable. It just has to be sun-dried in the sun. I feel like I am awake in the shade. Generally, there are still many people in the park at 4 or 5 in the afternoon. Visitors do not see local residents.
The highest point of Hongshan Park, there is a small square. Standing here, you can see the panoramic view of Urumqi. The front of the high-rise buildings is the city center. It is also very prosperous. Urumqi is also very prosperous, than I imagined. Its much better. I climbed the Red Mountain Park and saw the urban landscape in front of me. I can't believe I was in Xinjiang.
Standing here, you can see the city scenery on the other side of Urumqi, the high buildings in the distance, the wide roads, and it is not too much to say that this is the largest city in Central Asia. Although Xinjiang is the western part of China, more time We also call the west, from the perspective of the world, here is the central part of Asia, Central Asia is a few countries and regions, Urumqi is the city farthest from the sea, it is indeed a big city.
For Xinjiang as a whole, Urumqi is still a very suitable city for life. In summer, it is very cool. I want to come here tomorrow summer and live a long time in the past few days.
Panda_Slow_Travel.
The red mountain rises from the flat and stands in the center of Urumqi. Whenever the sunset in the west glows warm, the peak of the Hutou Peak will bloom, and the whole peak will be red, just like the treasures that often appear in mythology. The turbulent water that once was at the foot of the mountain has now become a road.
The top of the hill, the rigorous structure of the Red Mountain Pagoda, after 200 years of wind and rain, still stands upright. The beautiful Red Mountain has become an indispensable legend in the memory of generations. In addition to the wonderful scenery, the red mountains have a touching cultural landscape when seen on a clear day.
The crowds passing by, and the pagoda standing quietly on the top of the mountain, show a unique charm. When you climb to the top of Hongshan, you can look down on this bustling city, full of vitality and unique cultural temperament. The whole mountain is like a dragon in the west of the head, and the head stands between the streets of the bustling city.
Adam Yue.
On the viewing platform of the Mid-Levels, you can clearly see the snow-capped mountains and bustling cities in the distance. Urumqi is a very magical place. The city is surrounded by mountains on three sides. It is surrounded by the Gobi Desert. It is surrounded by lush greenery and an oasis. Green trees, cities, snow mountains, these sights are rare. It is no wonder that friends in Xinjiang have recommended me to come to Hongshan Park to see Urumqi.
