There are fewer tourists at Golden Beach in winter. Seeing a concrete trail beside the beach for tourists to take a walk, we walked along the trail. There are statues of marine animals beside the beach, such as coral fish, seahorses, whales, shells, etc. There are also facilities for beach volleyball and barbecue. The trail leads directly to Coffee Bay and Kadoorie Bay. There are two cannons at the end of Kadoorie Bay, but the other side of the shore is blocked by iron mesh and cannot be passed. We have to return to the road (Tsing Yin Street) and then go forward to reach Castle Peak Bay. This seaside road is very easy to walk on. In the past, when I left the Gold Coast Hotel or the beach, I would often walk along the road to Castle Peak Bay. After discovering this seaside trail, when I visit this beach again in the future, I can enjoy the sea view and slowly walk to Sam Shing Village to eat seafood.

The hotel is great. Rooms are good and pretty. View is good too. One thing I am a bit disappointed is that, I was celebrating birthday of my family member. I told the hotel about this, but they only gave us a tiny piece birthday cake and no more!

Tuen Mun Gold Coast is a place I loved to visit when I was a child. I revisited the place after many years. Although things remain the same, the feeling is different. If you drive there, it is easy to find a parking space. First we went to the Gold Coast Hotel to enjoy afternoon tea. The exterior of the hotel was a bit weathered and had probably not been renovated. However, the food and drinks were of satisfactory standard and were quite satisfactory. Enjoyed a buffet breakfast poolside at the Gold Coast Hotel's Lingfeng Cafe. There were many choices of food, especially the cute panda lava custard buns, which tasted good and looked first-rate. I was not good at eating custard buns but I thought they were delicious. For breakfast, there was indeed a lot of food here, especially the freshly fried hot pancakes and wok hei (see picture), which were far better than many other hotels. The same could be said for other hot dishes. All in all, it was worth taking a long ride to have breakfast.

Today Uncle went to Tuen Mun Gold Coast, walk on the beach and eat in the mall! The Gold Coast is really beautiful, the sand is fine, walk down the beach for a while, the weather is super nice, you can see the other shore! There are many choices of restaurants in the mall, however the prices will be a little more expensive. The whole coastal waterfront garden has a foreign atmosphere, and the pace is much slower when I come to relax and sunbathe! This time I didn't walk to the innermost Dolphin Plaza because the sun was too hot. I didn't want to sweat when I walked there. It's still 20 degrees in December!
