IMPORTANT note: You will reach International Airport in Ho Chi Minh City T2 and you will need to collect your luggage, and cross to T1 by foot. It will take about 5 minutes walk. Refer to the summary below: - Reached HCM City T2 - Collect Luggage - Walk to T1 and check in - Clear Immigration to board Domestic flight to Phu Quoc Plan your trip in advance, and contact the hotel you are staying in for a complimentary land transport service. You will need to email the hotel to inform them your arrival date and timing and most hotels provide free shuttle. Phu Quoc is a beautiful island and the weather can be extreme. It can be extremely wet during Monsoon season, and the best time to travel will be from March till October. The island is best known for their fine white sands and crystal clear sea water - Paradise for water activities such as 🤿 Snorkelling and Diving🤿. We went during the dry season in April, and thus we only needed wet suits and we proceed. Temperature was at 28 degree Celsius in the day and around 22 at night. It was more than comfortable! Southern Part of Phu Quoc - 🚡Cable Car🚡 in Phu Quoc is a must try, bringing you across a few isolated island and it provides a Majestic view of crystal clear water. It takes around 18 minutes for a one way trip and the ticket will cost one around SGD 60 dollars that includes your entrance to Aquatopia Water Theme Park and a buffet Lunch. It's very worth trying for the ride and water park. The park is absolutely clean but it can get crowded during local holidays. There are more than 5 different kind of slides and a lazy river, very suitable for couples, friends, or even family. It's located on the southern part of Phu Quoc and you need to plan your itinerary well, otherwise you will waste some time traveling from North to South. Northern part of Phu Quoc presents a more defined and lively area with stretches of shophouses filled with F&B, massage centers, salons, cafes, convenience stores, and home stays. Phu Quoc Corona Casino is located just beside Radisson Blu hotel and in order to enter the casino you will need to create a membership with them using your passport and all games are charged in Vietnamese Dong. There is then a Safari just 15 min away from and it’s is one of a kind. 2023 Spring Break Wealthy Nation Tour Day 2

Because relaxation is the main focus, the itinerary is arranged at one's own comfortable pace. The next day, after having beef noodles at the hotel for breakfast, the sightseeing begins. As mentioned earlier, the hotel where we stayed was very close to the cable car station, so we walked to the boarding point. The earliest time to board was 9:30 in the morning, and we could take a stroll around the area. The boarding point was located inside a small market (as we all know, tourist attractions sell the same things). Moreover, it was during the Spring Festival holiday, so there was a live passionate dance show (male-male Latin) around 9 o'clock. The cable car of Fragrant Hills Island in Fuguo is said to be the longest cross-sea cable car in the world, with no stops along the way. You can enjoy the beautiful fish village, fishing boats docked on the coast, and the tranquil sea from high in the sky. So if you come to Fuguo, you must take a ride. The last stop of the cable car is on Xiang Island, where there is an amusement park mainly featuring water activities. Friends who like playing in the water can have fun, while those who don't want to get wet can sit in a cool place like me and enjoy watching handsome guys and beautiful girls in cool clothes. There are also roller coasters, bungee jumping, rotating windows and other projects on the island. Those who like excitement can experience it for free. (I bought a pass that includes the cost of the projects in the amusement park, which is 600,000 Vietnamese dong, equivalent to 180 yuan in RMB.) The cable car ticket includes round trip. You can choose your return time in Xiangdao. I returned at 3:00 pm and walked back to the hotel to freshen up (it was really hot). In the evening, I watched a light show nearby (the ticket was 200,000 Vietnamese dong, and I bought a VIP ticket for 250,000, which was actually just a better location in the middle of the screen). After the show, I was very hungry and ordered a seafood porridge, grilled squid, and a cocktail at a restaurant by the sea. Listening to the sound of the waves and feeling the sea breeze was very comfortable (the seafood porridge was too big and I couldn't finish it). The above is my account of the second day. Getting There - An Thoi Station (it was inspired by an Italian city-Amalfi, so you can see the construction of shop house and apartment taking similarity to those Mediterranean town by the sea. Attractions - the cable car will bring you to Hon Thom island which has 2 theme parks. We wanted to try the Aquatopia park but unfortunately it was not open due to lightning risk. Food & Restaurants - there’s a buffet restaurant which is full of locals and tour groups. You can choose to buy a combo ticket that includes buffet. We chose not too and try the local dishes on the main island. There are also some cafes like The Coffee House for some energy recharge. Note: There is locker and changing room facility too. You can leave your slippers/shoes outside before entering each of the waterpark activity if you prefer not to walk barefooted.

I choose to lie flat in the southern part of Phu Quoc Island

I stayed in the south, north, and middle of Phu Quoc Island for two nights each, and the south is the most suitable for me. In the north, it's convenient for the amusement park and Safari and Yangdong Town, but the environment is average, with many fish and vegetable markets, and it's convenient for shopping and living. In the middle, at Novotel, it feels like it's all Koreans, the beach is not good, and the night market is not tasty. In the south, I stayed in Sunset Town for two nights, with fewer people and cars, and the balcony can see the sunset and fireworks. It's also close to the cross-sea cable car. The cable car is super beautiful. After arriving at Xiang Island, I took a roller coaster. If you are timid, please be cautious. The next day, I rented a motorcycle and went to Bai Khem beach for an afternoon. I feel that the water quality here is the best, with a glass sea, white sandy beach, and less garbage. In the evening, I drank beer and ate barbecue skewers at the night market in the town, and people can also go to the DJ to bounce a few times. I believe that I will revisit Phu Quoc Island in the near future, and I plan to lie directly in the south for a week at that time.

In Phu Quoc, you can take a 20 minute-long cable car ride. This is the perfect position from which to admire fishing boats, the sunrise, and the sunset. It's so amazing! The cable car takes you to Koh Chang. This beautiful beach is freely accessible to the public. I highly recommend visiting at dusk to watch the sunset.
