Beijing office workers, weekend food tour in Shenyang!
·
Beijing is too hot, it's so hot that it's driving me crazy! I heard that the highest temperature in Shenyang is only 27°C, so I took a spontaneous trip over the weekend!
·
After work on Friday, I headed straight to Beijing Station after dinner. I bought a ticket for train K53, a sleeper for 173 yuan. I spent the night on the train, saving one night's accommodation. I'm really good at managing my expenses!
·
Arrived in Shenyang at 8 o'clock. I've been to places like Shenyang Imperial Palace and Zhang Xueliang's Former Residence before. This time, the main purpose of my Shenyang trip is to escape the heat and enjoy food! In the morning, the guy in the neighboring sleeper was eating instant noodles, which made me crave them so much. After getting off the train, I went straight to Lao Siji Hand-Pulled Noodles. The noodles with chicken rack were so delicious that I completely forgot about maintaining a ladylike image!
·
Girls love shopping. I had been to the K11 shopping center in Shanghai before, and I didn't expect Shenyang to have a K11 as well. It's perfect for taking photos, and the air conditioning is very strong, super cool! The mall is huge, with stores of all major brands, and the prices are cheaper than in Beijing!
·
After shopping at K11, I went out to Shenshuiwan Wharf! It was hot, and I didn't like walking, so I booked a ticket for a cruise on the Hunhe River. The boat had air conditioning and offered free drinks and fruits. Enjoying the air conditioning while cruising down the Hunhe River, the scenery on both sides was fully visible, very pleasant! The destination was the Olympic Sports Center Wharf!
·
After getting off the boat, I booked a hotel nearby! I stayed at the Hauser Ritz Hotel, which is very close to the wharf. The price is moderate, and the decoration is very stylish. I loved their big bed, which is two meters long and wide! Also, I like to sleep hugging the quilt, so I have high requirements for quilts. Their quilt was very soft and comfortable, and I slept very well that night!
·
The hotel front desk told me that there is a Hunhe River Bund Market downstairs, which is very lively at night! In the evening, I went to join the fun, and it was indeed very lively! There are barbecue streets and bar streets, with lots of delicious food, and the night view is super beautiful! Walking along the Hunhe River Bund, the night breeze felt very comfortable.
·
Returned to the hotel at ten o'clock, took a bath, and lay on the comfortable big bed. I quickly fell asleep. I recommend the Hauser Ritz Hotel, not only is the environment good, clean, and hygienic, but the rooms also have smart facilities! It's also very convenient for travel, with a subway station within 500 meters, so it won't delay the next day's itinerary!
·
Hotel transportation: Take Metro Line 9, get off at Tiancheng Street, and walk for 10 minutes to reach; if driving, navigate to Hauser Ritz Hotel (Shenyang Olympic Sports Center Hunhe River Bund Market branch), there is a large parking lot!
·
Woke up naturally, it's a bit hot today! Today I checked in at Xigu Art Village, which has a strong ancient style atmosphere and fresh mountain and water beauty. Every photo taken here is picturesque! The most delightful thing is that there are misting devices here, which not only create a fairyland feeling but also feel very comfortable and cool when the mist hits your body!
·
Too tired to walk anymore! So, I booked a high-speed train at around five o'clock. Since there was still time, I strolled around Zhongjie! Zhongjie has a Toutiao Hutong, with lots of snacks, and it's also good for taking photos, with a Manchu style! Strolled until 4:30, took a taxi to the North Station, and arrived in Beijing after 8 pm! End of the trip!
