Inviting infinity pool @Holiday Villa JB 🇲🇾

#wheretogo With the recent heat wave, there’s no better time to go for a swim in the amazing infinity pool than during a staycation at Holiday Villa Hotel in Johor Bahru City Centre Malaysia. The pool is quite a good size and offers a wonderful city view. There is also a nice jacuzzi next to the pool deck. I like that it wasn’t overly crowded even on a weekend, and there were enough deck chairs for guests. Enjoy! I hope to be back soon!

Holiday Villa Johor Bahru City Centre

First time staying in this hotel in Johor. Location was good in the middle of city which easily to tour around. Check in took about half an hour. The rooms are clean and well maintained but abit old. There have rooftop swimming pool and gym on the 26th floor for hotel guests. Also easy access to shopping, food, pharmacy etc. KSL City Mall just across the road. The hotel is opposite KSL city. There are so many other food choices around the area as well. Breakfast was great, plenty of selection and have a good view of the city while having breakfast. A halal korean barbeque place located at the lobby of Holiday Villa Johor Bahru at GF 3, GF 4, GF 5 Menara Malpakat, 260, Jalan Dato Sulaiman, Taman Abab, 80250 Johor Bahru, Johor, Malaysia. It is easy to come here and it is one of the popular places in JB. It is open everyday and it is also halal certified too. A super popular place and at first glance, it does not look like a bbq place. The staff are welcoming and will assist to cook the meat for you. There are plenty of choices and you can order ala-cart. Located near KSL mall and holiday plaza, this hotel is a popular choice among Singaporeans for a short staycation. However, I find that the overall stay is not up to my expectation. The main issue is with the room. Booked the superior room and I found a few issues with it. Firstly, the door is too near to the toilet bowl so you might knock onto it if anyone enters and secondly, there is no detachable showerhead which makes it difficult to wash certain areas of body. However, there are also areas worth visiting in the hotel. One example of this infinity pool located at the top floor that has a awesome view of the JB city center. Price per Person: 30RM per pax Rating: 4/5 Second time trying this cafe. Just opposite KSL mall. I am impressed with their coffee drinks as they don’t just offer the regular Americano, lattes, flat whites etc. they have a menu of unique coffee drinks with seasonal special coffee drinks. And the unique coffee drinks are recipes that I haven found else where and most importantly, they taste good. They are not so unique until they are too sweet etc. but a good spin on regular coffee drinks like I particularly enjoy their orange Americano. The orange taste complements the coffee taste well and neither overpowers each other. Their in store pastries needs some work tho. Other wise. JB makan trip again! This is a Dim Sum restaurant at the ground level of Holiday Villa Hotel in the KSL area. It is located at the back of the hotel. Fully airconditioned and nice ambience. Price was on the higher side but taste was quite good. Highly recommended for a cool place to relax and drink tea. Located across the causeway and just across the road from KSL shopping mall, Holiday Villa Johor Bahru is a perfect weekend escape at a convenient location. With its convenient location, it’s easy to catch a late night movie/ sing to your hearts content at the KTV in KSL, or head for Lok Lok supper just opposite KSL mall. Do you know there is a short cut from KSL City Mall to Holiday Villa Hotel. You can take the route from KSL City Mall KFC and head towards Holiday Villa Hotel. You will see a steep staircases at the back of Holiday Villa Hotel. Take this staircase and you will arrive at Holiday Villa Hotel and there is a walkway towards their lobby. You will also see many restaurants at the back lane of the hotel too. Double 🌈

This is one of the best hotel I’ve ever stayed in JB. Never regret coming back to stay with Holiday Villa! Is definitely gonna be my choice in future too! How lucky are we to be able to witness the double rainbow upon checking in late evening after the afternoon rain showers. My children were delighted to catch the rainbow and watched it while it slowly disappear. The infinity pool with awesome view! My children enjoys the pool and view! A beautiful cafe located at the lobby of Holiday Villa Johor Bahru Hotel. You will see it once you enter through the main entrance into the lobby. If you come in from the back door which is the shortcut from KSL Shopping mall then you will miss it. A space like design cafe with a wide variety of coffee, tea and fruit juices. Every drink order will come with a description introducing the drinks. I tried their coco jumbo 22 ringgit which is coffee with coconut. The ingredients card is indicated in both English and Mandarin. Holiday villa a hotel right next to KSL shopping mall with lots to eat and shop, night market every monday nights. Located at the hotel lobby level is a convenient store that sells snacks and drinks. the hotel house a in-housebar at level 26 which touted the best roof bar in JB with a magnificence view especially at night or sunset hours. An infinite pool located at level 25 offer the similar view to the bar which is amazing and a gym that have panoramic views as well. Breakfast spread at the hotel is great with a wide selection that is enough to keep you full for half a day. I went over to Holiday Villa JB to take a look when I was at KSL. Holiday Villa still looked the same and even the korean restaurant K-Fry also still in operation. You can choose from a superior/deluxe room. I recommend you to choose the deluxe room because I remember some of their superior rooms are smoking rooms. Elses you can try out their premium suite which is much more spacious and has a 5 seater sofa in the room. The eateries at the lobby are still in operation and there is a new cafe right at the hotel lobby too. Sometimes, when I do not have a booking at Holiday Villa, then I will pay for their valet parking for safety purposes. Swimming pool and gym need to book at the ground level reception,one room can only book one time per day and only for one hour. If is raining they won't allow you to use the swimming pool. Breakfast was above average food wise quite many variety to choose, just that bread was finish and was not replenish. Room is big but the bind beside the bathtub is spoilt. plus point is alot of food stall around the hotel., ksl mall is also walking distance from the hotel.

Booked a night stay on one of the weekday nights to JB at Holiday Villa. The hotel is quite crowded on a weekday. There are few restaurants within the hotel like K Fry, Heng Wah Kopitiam, Chao Lao and Space Cafe. It is conveniently located near KSL. The room is relatively spacious and clean. It also comes with a hotel buffet breakfast. The spread is quite okay and we had a sumptuous breakfast. Also, went on a Monday so that we can walk the pasar malam that is located opposite of KSL. Overall, quite a not bad stay 👍🏻 #staycation #johorbaru

One of the Best Hotels in JB!

Cleanliness: - In terms cleanliness, the room is immaculate. No physical signs of dust settling anywhere in the room. - The floor are mostly carpeted. However the bed area don't get the aircon blowing. So it's quite warm. We informed the hotel, but they can't do anything about it. Amenities: - Room was unfortunately not equipped with smart tv. There's a good variety of international channels. - Room is very spacious. Suitable to bring guests for card games. - The view from the room is unobstructed. So it’s quite nice to see the sunset from the balcony. - The tv was installed in the positioned right in front of the bed. However due to the big room size, we find the tv too small. - The shower area is very clean and big. It has a separate bath tub within the shower area, so it's spacious. - Beds and linens are comfortable. Additional pillows are provided by default. - Making up the room was punctual. So we got back to a room which is spick and span when we returned. Food Choices: - The food offered during breakfast at their hotel restaurant has a decent variety of choices. Although the menu is almost the same, you can still try other parts of the menu if you stayed longer. - There are many eateries around the area. So you can easily walk around particular when at night Service: - We arrived at almost at 3pm to check in. However the room was not ready & we got delayed. Surprisingly the hotel provided us a free drink and snacks complimentary from their lounge as a "compensation". - While we were waiting, many other staffs attended to us to take turns. - Almost all the staffs greeted us with a smile. We even got a staff who offered to help us carry the luggages when he happened to saw us got some difficulties. Security: Opt for valet parking at RM30 per night. It will be safer for your vehicle.
