[2025 Nanning Stay] Travel Guide for Holiday Inn Express Nanning Convention&Exhibition (Updated Jun)

The main purpose of this trip to Nanning was to visit Qingxiu Mountain and the night market, so I chose this hotel. The location of the hotel is particularly good. It takes about 40 minutes to drive from Wuxu Airport to the hotel. There is a subway nearby, so travel is also convenient. The hotel is close to Qingxiu Mountain Scenic Area, Langxi Night Market, Vientiane City, and the Convention and Exhibition Center, which is very convenient for both tourists and business guests. The hotel opened in 2023. It looks quite ordinary from the outside, and the lobby looks like an ordinary office building. I booked a superior king room and checked in on a midweek date. It was relatively cheap, 305 per night. When checking in at the front desk, I was upgraded to a room with a larger area, a larger bed and a higher floor. The room is simple, clean and hygienic. At first glance, it only has the usual facilities such as a bed, a sofa and a table. There are no additional equipment or details. This is a hotel located in a regular building, so the view is pretty average, just the surrounding high-rise buildings, but the view from rooms on higher floors will be wider. The hotel's breakfast buffet is ok, which is quite rich for a hotel of this price. The restaurant is very clean and bright. The hotel also has a laundry room and a gym. It is very convenient to have a laundry room when you are away from home. Hotels are not cheap nowadays, but this hotel has a good price/performance ratio. If I come to Nanning next time, I will probably stay here again. Vivi was very helpful to upgrade our hotel room upon our arrival. Her service was tip top. Hotel facilities were very good such as automated voice control features for all the amenities in the room such as curtain, tv, lighting, air-con etc. Located next to MRT with Night Market within a 5 mins walk. Highly recommended to stay for leisure and business trip.

Not only that, the snacks and drinks are unique. If you want a quick bite, the mini-bar's snacks are not to be missed! It's a rapid attack on your taste buds~ Moreover, you can interact with the hotel's smart connected devices. It's a collision of technology! In addition, the entertainment facilities are complete, you might even encounter a smart delivery robot... Doesn't all this make your heart flutter?

A girl's solo trip to Nanning‼️ Three days and two nights, a leisurely version that's not about budget traveling 💚Spontaneous trip, round trip standing tickets, definitely worth the journey. Basically, I visit one spot and then see where to go next DAY1️⃣ 🕘9:00 Depart from Guangzhou South, arrive at Nanning East around 12:00 🏩Take a taxi to check into the Holiday Inn Express near the Convention Center 🍝Wait for the rain to stop at the hotel, ordered takeout Shu Ji old friend noodles 🕌After the rain stops, head from Langxi subway station to the Zhuang Ethnic Museum (use Alipay for subway rides) ⛩️Around 16:00, visit Chaoyang Square to stroll through the Three Streets and Two Alleys, just a typical old town pedestrian street in the city. Tried Prince Cha Li's yellow skin lemon tea, delicious, sipped while browsing Changyou Pavilion, not so interesting to visit😂 🥟Walked to Shuijie to find something to eat. Grabbed a zongzi on the go, they don't like egg yolk zongzi here, so I bought a red bean zongzi, tasty. 📍At Grandma Huang's Yulan Powder Worm Shop, ordered taro cake, stir-fried powder worms, salt-baked chicken wings, and rice dumplings. 👍Recommend the rice dumplings 🚤After eating, walked to Minsheng Wharf, there was a live band performance, sat and watched until dark, it gets dark so late here. Just heard about the iron flower show, waited until after eight, enjoyed the intangible cultural heritage romantic show, more touching than fireworks 🥭Took a taxi back to the hotel to rest, then went to Langxi Night Market, so much food there.
