Cherry Blossoms at the Shrine, Outlet Spree, and a Bittersweet Goodbye 🌸🛍✈️
#cherryblossom25
On the final day of our Hokkaido adventure, the weather finally decided to cooperate—sunshine and mild temperatures made everything feel just right! ☀️✨
We headed straight to Hokkaido Shrine in the morning, and for the first time in five days, we were greeted by cherry blossoms in full bloom. The shrine grounds were covered in petals like pink snow, creating a breathtaking scene. While wandering through the prayer boards, we stumbled upon a bunch of hilarious messages written in Chinese—some so absurd they had us laughing out loud! 😂
Next stop: the nearby Maruyama Park, which turned out to be the highlight of our cherry blossom hunt! White, pink, and red cherry blossoms mixed with plum blossoms formed a dazzling sea of flowers, made even more magical under the clear blue sky. 📷 We took countless photos, soaking in every last moment of this floral fantasy.
In the afternoon, we made a mad dash to the Mitsui Outlet for a final shopping spree—filling every last inch of our suitcases with goodies. 🧳💥 After a quick bite of takoyaki for lunch, it was time to head to New Chitose Airport with a heavy heart.
Though the five-day journey was sprinkled with rain and wind, it was also filled with surprises and unforgettable moments—from the relaxing hot springs in Noboribetsu, to the historical warehouses in Hakodate, the cherry blossoms at Goryokaku, the dreamy canals of Otaru, and all the mouthwatering food in Sapporo. 🍜💖
These memories, like cherry blossoms, are fleeting yet brilliant—blooming vividly in my heart. And I know, one day, we’ll meet again under the same pink sky. 🌸💫

📍Hokkaido Shrine, Sapporo, Hokkaido, Japan
Visited this beautiful and stunning shrine which is Hokkaido Shrine, that is located in Sapporo’s Maruyama Park. The shrine serves as a spiritual Center for locals, offering a space for worship, cultural events and seasonal celebrations. The shrine offers a serene and calm atmosphere, the infrastructure is intricate, beautifully and meticulously built. The area is huge and spacious, great place for birds watching, prayers, and for some leisure walks, making it a popular spot for both locals and tourists throughout the year. We visited the shrine during winter and it was so beautiful with snow on the rooftop and floor. Would recommend this place to anyone visiting Aapporo
