Hong Kong|The joy of watching the sea all the way, Tai Tan to Hoi Hsia Country Trail 🌸
There are many hiking trails in Hong Kong, some are difficult, some are easy, some are hiking along mountain trails, and some are hiking along the coast. There are many types for you to choose from.
This time I will introduce a simple but beautiful hiking trail - the Datan to Haixia hiking trail.🌸
Datan is the junction of Houtang River and Datan Sea, so it is full of mangroves.
In March, there were a lot of butterflies 🦋 gathering in this mangrove forest. This time, I went in May, and the mountain was full of pink flowers 🌸, accompanied by spider webs 🕸️ along the way. (It is probably because it is not a popular hiking trail, quiet and clean, and insects and small animals also like this environment 🙈)
🕷️🕸️🕸️
When you start hiking, you can look for some useful broken branches on the roadside, pick them up and remove the spider webs along the way 😂 (Don’t damage the trees! There are many branches on the ground that can be picked up.)
Walking along the beach, enjoying the sea in front of me and the mountains in the distance⛰️, I felt very relaxed. (It’s just that in some seasons, I have to overcome my fear of small insects.)
During the hike, you will come across two small beaches where you can stop to listen to the sea breeze, eat snacks, and replenish your energy.
When you are close to the end of the sea, you will pass by the Haixia Bay Marine Life Center. (If you have time and interest, you can make an appointment to explore marine life next time. There are transparent boats to take to see the creatures on the seabed, and there are also interpreters to introduce various conservation methods.)
There are convenience stores in Hoi Ha Wan where you can get supplies and you can also stop at the beach. Hoi Ha Wan has clear water and fine sand. It is one of the few places in Hong Kong with living corals and is a government-planned marine park reserve. When you are doing water activities, please be sure to protect all marine life and not destroy them, so that humans can enjoy the precious gifts brought to us by nature.

Protecting nature is everyone's responsibility. Take your own trash away.
(I really don’t want to see a lot of garbage even when walking in the mountains. Since I can carry so much garbage up the mountain, it will be easier to carry it after eating and drinking!)
I believe everyone who loves nature can do it.👍🏻👍🏻
