Access: (For vehicles equipped with ETC) Turn right at the traffic light from the Meishin Expressway Koto Sanzan Smart Interchange, then go straight on National Route 307 for 3 minutes
Saimyoji Temple, a Tendai sect temple that is counted among the Koto Sanzan. The main hall is a structure built in the early Kamakura period, and is a purely Japanese-style building that does not use a single nail. The Kamakura style has been well preserved, and it has been designated as the first national treasure.
