Spent a couple of nights in Kuching and stayed at Hilton Hotel Kuching. The hotel is overlooking Sarawak River and at the opposite bank is Sarawak State Legislative Assembly Building. The night view is also quite impressive with lightning when you view it from high floor. The hotel is at a good location where there are plenty of eateries around. The must try food in Kuching is Sarawak Laksa and Kolo mee. Close by the hotel, there are also many shops selling colorful Kuih lapis (layered cake), is a must try dessert. Overall, is highly recommended to stay at the Hilton when you visit Kuching.

With the Ramadan Season coming to a close, here are some throwback photos that we enjoyed during our Buka Puasa company dinner. Hilton Kuching’s Serantau Buffet boasted over at least 50 dishes from different cuisines such as Chinese, Malay, Indian, Japanese and so much more! Each and every dish was sumptuous but my favourite had to be the Sarawak laksa and 12 hours smoked brisket. They served udang galah, nasi kandar, wagyu roti John and loads more! Priced at RM 218 per pax, it was well worth every penny and I can’t wait to see what they do for next year’s buffet. #deliciousfood
