Boat Avenue and Porto de Phuket were very close and had dozens of great restaurants and shopping options for those wanting to experience a more western vibe / not get harassed by vendors. if you are looking for a great waterpark for the kids, try blue tree water park. #bangtao

Had a chance to stay at Hilton Garden Inn Phuket Bang Tao. Staff checked me in quickly. The hotel's parking is limited and is in the basement, but there are 2 elevators for cars, which is rare to see in hotels in Thailand. I got a room on the 7th floor, which made strange noises all the time because there was a swimming pool in the room, so I asked to change to a new room, which went smoothly. The breakfast was simple, not a lot but complete.

I stayed at the Hilton Garden in for five days as a solo traveler and I was really happy with my stay. The hotel is relatively new so everything is in good shape and tastefully decorated. The room is spacious and clean, the facilities and daily amenities are nice. The housekeeping replace your water daily and there’s a snack shop in the lobby if you need anything more. The breakfast was really nice and had a solid offering, fruit, pastries, cereals and customisable hot food. The hotel also does lunch and dinner options The rooftop pools are amazing, the smaller pool Is great for relaxing & photos while the bigger pool is better for swimming. There are towels, sun beds, seating areas and a bar for peak hours. The hotel is a bit remote which makes it nice and peaceful, there are shopping and eating areas within a ten minute walk with loads of options.
