If I come to Changshu again, I will stay at this hotel. It's nice and not expensive!!!
Changshu Longteng Hilton Hotel Review
A few months ago, I noticed that a new Hilton hotel was about to open in Changshu, Suzhou. This will be the third Hilton in Suzhou. So, I decisively booked a stay with 20,000 points and planned to record this experience.
Transportation
It takes about 40 minutes to drive from downtown Suzhou. The hotel has just opened, and parking is free. The underground parking garage is very impressive, and as soon as you enter the garage, there are staff members to guide you.
Accommodation
I have a Diamond membership and booked the most basic room type with points, and the system automatically upgraded me to an executive room. I tried to call the hotel to see if I could upgrade to a lake view suite, but the hotel said that whether I could upgrade to a suite depended on the room availability on the day. After checking in, I got a unique room type, which was not a suite or a lake view room, but I was satisfied that the hotel agreed to let me check out at 4 pm.
Executive Lounge Experience
I was very satisfied with the happy hour at the executive lounge. The food was plentiful and substantial, with 5 hot dishes available, including bullfrog, beef, fish, etc. The lounge also offers a variety of drinks, including vodka. At around 2:30 pm, there were not many people in the lounge, and the afternoon tea desserts were exquisite and pleasing to the eye.
Fitness and Pool Facilities
The hotel's pool is very special, with a transparent bottom design, which feels wonderful when swimming. The water is 1.5 meters deep, which is very suitable for swimming. The gym is in a great location, with a view of the lake while working out.
Surprise Encounter
This was a revisit to Changshu. The last time I came to Qinhu Lake, this hotel was still under construction. Now, there is a Hyatt hotel near Kun Cheng Lake, and the Hilton by Qinhu Lake has also opened, so I chose to stay here without hesitation.
The hotel lobby is located on the 12th floor, and you can overlook the panoramic view of Qinhu Lake from the lobby. The service is very attentive, and the staff helped me with my luggage to the room. Fortunately, I was upgraded to a lake view room, and the night view from the room was beautiful, and I could enjoy the beautiful sunrise in Changshu in the morning.
The hotel breakfast is rich in variety. I heard that the noodles here are comparable to those in Yushan, and I think they taste good, but the beef soup is a little salty. I wanted to try the rice balls, but unfortunately, I didn't get to try them, so I'll have to try them next time.
The second floor of the hotel leads directly to the lakeside pier, and there is a Starbucks nearby, as well as many dining and shopping places. It's very pleasant to enjoy the night view here at night.
Changshu, a place that carries the dreams of children, is not big, but it is full of fireworks and always reminds me of my beautiful childhood.
