The hidden gem B&B in Wuhan, nestled beside the mountain | A paradise atop the Tanhua Forest
A treasure of a B&B discovered in Tanhua Forest, hidden in the hustle and bustle of the city, was the filming location for the variety show 'Please, Have Dinner with Friends' featuring Yuan Hong, Zhang Xinyi, and Yang Di. Its beauty is beyond words. Ascending from Tanhua Forest, it's like stumbling into a private fairy tale garden, true to its name of seclusion beside the mountain. The entire B&B is situated within a scenic area yet stands independently. It climbs the mountain terrain in tiers, blending with the cultural traces of over 40 historic buildings amidst the natural surroundings. Upstairs is a five-star B&B, downstairs is a Western restaurant.
The B&B has only 14 rooms with 9 different types of rooms. We stayed in the secluded terrace twin room, which is not only equipped with full-house intelligence, electric curtains, smart toilets, Dyson hairdryers, but also a large bathtub and bath bags. The bathing amenities are Acca Kappa, which is used by the Four Seasons Hotel. Electric curtains and soundproof glass ensure privacy. Although it is located in the lively Tanhua Forest, it is not noisy at all. Outside, there is a super large terrace facing the mountains, overlooking the entire beauty of Tanhua Forest, feeling the impact of 'a view of the mountains being small', truly giving a sense of seclusion in the mountains, so comfortable.
🤵♂️The service of the B&B is even more considerate than many five-star hotels, with butlers helping with luggage during check-in and check-out. There is exclusive butler service, with super timely responses, and guests will receive a detailed check-in guide. Any questions can be answered at any time. Each entrance and exit of the B&B is secured with a password door, ensuring the privacy of guests and diners.
If you want to dine on the mountain, the garden Western restaurant of the secluded B&B would be a great choice, after all, it has been featured in a variety show and is now a popular restaurant. Dining here is truly amazing; the entire restaurant feels like it's set in a garden, surrounded by greenery, offering a return to nature's relaxation. The overall design style of the restaurant is European court retro, with dark green velvet sofas, vintage chandeliers, dark green curtains, and the furniture and plants exuding a nostalgic charm. The most interesting are the various oil paintings in the restaurant, with the women in the paintings looking lifelike. The restaurant also has two small private rooms, which are glass houses. The dishes are both beautiful and tasty, and the prices are affordable. The garden herb roasted whole chicken absorbs the flavor of lemongrass, with a crispy skin that has a hint of honey sweetness, and the meat is tender and juicy. The roasted chicken paired with the restaurant's secret chili powder offers a spicy and tender taste. The Angus black gold beef pizza with a thin crust is very delicious, and the large pieces of Angus beef are juicy! The fried chicken and fries platter is a child's favorite.
Our room includes breakfast, and the variety and taste really amazed us. The mini beef burgers, freshly baked buns with handmade beef patties, paired with tomatoes and pickles, were delicious. The morning drinks were also good, with a rich and creamy cappuccino, and the homemade red date rice soup was so heartwarming, with a pure rice soup taste of childhood.
