Hesten Mountain, Senja, Norway
Hesten, Senja, Norway
Another route that impressed me with the view from the top of the mountain is Hesten Mountain, not far from Senja town. It is an easy short hike that you can walk without getting too tired. I would say it is a very beautiful mountain because it is uniquely beautiful, with mountains surrounding us at 180 degrees and a pond separating the mountains. We will be amazed by the natural view around us 100%.
The distance of Hesten Mountain round trip is 5.8 kilometers, which is not a lot of walking and the view is worth it. Actually, it is not difficult to walk, but... the weather is very changeable. I started walking up the mountain at 8 am. I could hardly see the path because there was fog all the way. Dew and rain fell. I thought that I would not be able to see the view because there was a lot of fog all the way. When I reached Hesten Mountain, the sun started to rise. The sun started to chase away the fog, allowing me to see Hesten Mountain and the view around me. At that time, I was very shocked because I could not see the view along the way up. I was very impressed because the view was beautiful, really beautiful.
So I would like to recommend that anyone who likes hiking must come here!! Because it is really beautiful. And the distance is not difficult to walk.

Must-see tips🔍 when playing:
1. Norwegian Food🍽️: Be sure to try the local fish delicacies, such as Norwegian Royal Salmon, Cod, etc., which are extremely delicious.
2. Currency exchange rate💰: Remember to pay attention to the exchange rate between RMB and Norwegian krone. Usually 1 RMB is equal to approximately 1.3-1.5 Norwegian krone.
3. Time difference problem⌛: Norway is in the Eastern Time Zone, which is 7 hours behind Beijing time. Don’t miss the arranged itinerary.
4. Remember to bring rain gear☔: The weather in Norway is changeable, so both sun protection and rain gear are indispensable. Traveling in all seasons is the most terrifying thing.
5. Tips💸: Tips in Norway are usually included in the bill and do not need to be paid extra. But if the service is good, you can also give it appropriately.
6. Hygiene issues🧼: Most public places require payment to use the restroom, so remember to bring some change when you go out.

Hesten, the mountain peak of Senja, Norway
Hesten Peak, Senja, Norway, another city that you must not miss.
This post is just a teaser for the mountain view of Senja. In the next post, I will post a picture of a hiking trail up the mountain that is easy and comfortable for the legs. It is the easiest of all the mountains that I have traveled to and is also more beautiful than I expected....
With a distance of only 2 kilometers there and 2 kilometers back, the path is a bit steep, but not too much. I think anyone who travels alone in Norway must!!!! come to this city because I will tell you that it is very beautiful beyond words. Especially walking in the morning before the sun rises, when the fog starts to disappear, you will see the light hitting the tip of the mountain, sparkling. It is so beautiful and satisfying.

Who loves
Who loves hiking? Here’s my top three favourite scenic hikes in the world:
1. Senja, Norway. This is not an easy place to get to but so worth it. Senja is a national park and has enough hikes to keep you busy for weeks. The main one is next to the mountain Seglan with this fantastic view over the fjords.
2. Kerlingarfjöll, Iceland. In spring and summer the roads open up to the Highlands of Iceland. The landscape looks more like the moon than earth.
3. Kauai, Hawaii. Hiking ridges like these in Kauai are spectacular. Best is to go around sunset for best light.
