#Spring0yentrip I went to Harimaya Bridge, a well-known tourist spot in Kochi City! To be honest, at first I thought, "Maybe it's smaller than I thought...?", but when I actually went there, I learned about its history and the background of how it has been loved by local people, and I became interested. Harimaya Bridge is known as a bridge built in the Edo period so that a monk from the Tosa clan could secretly give gifts to his lover. This episode is also sung in the "Yosakoi Bushi", and it is said to be a popular date spot for couples because of the love story. The bridge itself is compact, but the bright red railings make it photogenic. There are tourist information boards in the area where you can learn about the history and culture, so it was not just a "photogenic spot", but a place with a lot to see. There are souvenir shops and cafes near Harimaya Bridge, so it's perfect for stopping by while you're out walking. It's recommended as a spot where you can easily visit in a short amount of time! It's easy to stop by between sightseeing, and it's a perfect spot for taking photos and strolling.

📍Tosa Shrine Tosa Shrine is the Ichinomiya Shrine of Shikoku, located in Ichinomiya, Kochi City, Kochi Prefecture, and has long been known as the best place of prayer in Tosa. It is an ancient shrine said to have been founded in the 10th century, with a vast grounds, a long approach leading from the tower gate beside the national highway, and cedars and cypresses hundreds of years old growing thickly at the back of the front. 📍Harimaya Bridge It is said that the name "Harimaya Bridge" comes from the fact that "Harimaya" and "Hitoya", who were doing business on either side of the Horikawa River, built a private bridge for the two businesses to travel between them during the Edo period. Since then, the bridge has been rebuilt several times and the Horikawa River has been filled in, but it is now maintained as Harimaya Bridge and Hayama Garden Yosakoi Park, and the murmuring of the river is reproduced.
