[Must-visit in Busan] Gamcheon Culture Village: colorful houses, cute installation art, the most popular must-photograph attraction!
#Japanese and Korean urban attractions
Gamcheon Culture Village, known as the Machu Picchu of Korea, is one of the must-see attractions in Busan. The colorful houses and cute art installations make it feel like walking into a fairy tale world. The residential area was revitalized and reborn as an art village, built layer by layer on the slope. The alleys are like a maze and have a variety of painted themes. The landmark "The Little Prince and the Desert Fox" is the most popular and must-photograph spot, with a constant flow of people!

Gamcheon Culture Village, also famous for its night view in Busan✨️
Gamcheon Culture Village, a famous tourist attraction in Busan
I think I know why this place is famous for its night view!
The scenery created by the houses that are closely packed together
was a lonely yet beautiful atmosphere🩵
The Little Prince spot, which is always popular and has people lining up to take pictures, was quiet at night
so it was nice to have a quiet photo time
It's a Busan night view spot that's great for a leisurely walk✨️

When I first came here, there weren't this many people,
but I guess the region managed it well. They developed it into a tourist destination.
When I went to Thailand, I also saw a guidebook that had Gamcheon Culture Village on the cover instead of Sungnyemun or Seoul. It definitely has that kind of look that catches the eye.

Gamcheon Culture Village 🏯
Gamcheon Culture Village, Busan
It is one of the most popular tourist attractions in Korea. It is nicknamed the Santorini of Korea because of its colorful houses, buildings, and various places. There are many popular photo spots, but one that you can't miss is the Little Prince statue. We didn't take a photo because there were too many people. However, the view next to it is just as beautiful.
Advice: There are real people living in the village here. Be careful of people while walking. It is a mountain, so it is tiring to walk, but it is worth it. The weather is nice and the people are lovely.
Opening - Closing Time: 09:00 - 18:00
- How to get there

Haneul Maru Observatory 🇰🇷
#travellerswonderland
Not many knows this when they visit the famous Gamcheon Cultural Village but do you know that there is an observatory which is not crowded/packed with tourists and you can have unblocked views of Gamcheon Village from above? This observtory place is called Gamcheon Hanuel Maru observatory.
Do look out for the signs and follow the steps up to this observatory. Once up there, you will get the most amazing views of the whole entire Gamcheon Cultural Village. Best part is you dont have to squeeze with others as not many knows about it yet. It is quite hike up with many steps/stairs so do be careful when walking up. Otherwise, the trip to this observatory is worth it and the views are magnificent. Highly recommend it!
