The opening ceremony of the Hamilton Garden was held on July 24, 1960 and currently covers more than 54 hectares. The Hamilton Garden is not just a botanical garden. On the contrary, its theme is to express the history, background and significance of the garden, and to convey the concept of garden design and garden art through five different styles of garden collections, just like a garden museum, rich and full of vitality. The Paradise Garden highlights include China Yichang Garden, British Flower Garden, Japanese Siyuan, American Modern Park, Italian Renaissance Park, and Indian Quarter Park, representing the small garden design tradition. The prolific garden highlights include the Maori National Park (under construction), the kitchen garden (the vegetables and fruits that people often eat here are planted here), the herb gardens (traditional herbal plants), and the continuous development of garden gardens, representing people and plants. The relationship between each other. The Imagination Garden Collection is a fragrant garden. The highlights of the cultivation garden include the Rogers Rose Garden (including the New Zealand Rose Experiment), the New Zealand Plantation Garden, the Rhododendron Flower Garden, the Mond Camellia Garden, and the Victoria Flower Garden (including the Victorian Greenhouse), which houses plants carefully cultivated for the garden. The landscape garden highlights include the Buksac Woodland, Valley Walk, Hamilton East Park Graveyard, and echogenic shore shrubs, representing a different historical interpretation of an idealized landscape.
