🦞 Kowloon City high quality lobster two-course izakaya
🦞 Kowloon City high quality lobster two-course izakaya
Last year, I went to a popular izakaya in Kowloon City to eat half-cooked lobster, and I have been thinking about the sweet and tender lobster ever since. This time, I made a special appointment with a friend to have dinner at the restaurant after get off work, to eat skewers and chat. The store's exterior is decorated like a Japanese izakaya, with eye-catching flags fluttering in the breeze and staff warmly welcoming customers at the door, which makes it feel particularly friendly. The first thing I did when I arrived at the store was to ask the staff what seasonal seafood they had recommended. I learned that there was snapper that had been airlifted in that day. I was secretly delighted and decided to order some sashimi to try.
🐟 Air Freight Fish Box - Snapper Sashimi 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
What people are most looking forward to is of course the seasonal fresh fish - snapper - shipped directly from Japan and airlifted to Hong Kong on the same day. Sea bream is a very high-end sashimi ingredient. The chef has put a lot of thought into the presentation of the dish, using edible flowers and basil leaves as decoration. The sea bream is skewered on bamboo sticks into curved strips as a side dish, which looks like a vivid painting. It is worth it just to look at it! The meat of snapper is soft and tender, and tastes sweet. It is more delicious when dipped in a little sour grapefruit juice. After eating the fish, the waiter will add the fish bones to mushrooms, wontons, and shredded carrots to make soup. The fish soup is slightly milky white, sweet and fresh, leaving you with an endless aftertaste.
🦞 Ise Ebishi Yaki 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Half-cooked lobster, sea urchin, lobster porridge $698
Another long-awaited dish is "Ise Shrimp Yaki", the name of the dish is very impressive, it is actually half-cooked lobster with sea urchin. The lobster is presented in a very impressive manner. The chef did not skimp on the ingredients, using bamboo leaves, gold foil and chrysanthemums to set off the red color of the lobster, which is visually eye-catching and attractive. The sea urchin is laid on top of the lobster meat, forming a small hill.
🦞 The flame-grilled sea urchin and lobster meat enhance the aroma of the whole dish. The store owner suggests that customers can put the sea urchin on the lobster meat and eat it in big mouthfuls, which will make it taste more fresh and sweet; it is indeed true! The rich, sweet and dense taste of sea urchin paired with the crispy texture of half-cooked lobster meat is a perfect match. The lobster is cooked with a special salt sauce until the meat is half-cooked, which not only retains a lot of gravy and a crispy and crunchy texture, but also brings out the rich flavor of the lobster. This is a signature dish created by the store’s president. It is an extremely luxurious visual and taste experience, a must-order!
🥣 After enjoying the half-cooked lobster meat and sea urchin, you can ask the restaurant staff to help you make the lobster head porridge. The lobster porridge is also served with wonton vegetables, mushrooms and shredded carrots. It tastes extremely sweet and fresh, and the aftertaste lingers in the mouth after eating, with an excellent flavor.
