Have fresh seafood at the famous Hakata seafood Uoden restaurant, it's so popular amongst locals and tourists that you can expect a 30 minutes or more wait. Food here is top notch, especially their mentaiko ikura omelette don. Their dons, not only look fantastic but also taste exceptionally delicious with the fresh mentaiko and overflowing ikura. Be sure to be early at this restaurant, get a ticket and wait patiently because it is worth it to dine here.

I visited Uota during a trip to Fukuoka. This is a very popular restaurant that is open from the morning, but this time I went at lunchtime. Numbered tickets for lunch can be issued in the morning, so thanks to the numbered ticket, I was able to enter right at the start of lunchtime! It was so crowded that I felt like it was necessary to get a numbered ticket... The combination of mentaiko x egg x salmon roe on rice was absolutely delicious!
