\A resort I've always wanted to go to🥰/ ⁡ A report on a remote island resort inn that I knew the name of but never got to go to! ⁡ The cart was super fun, the breakfast was delicious, and the staff were always smiling, giving it a resort feel and it was the best🥺💕 ⁡ I got the Terrace Deluxe room, but it was pretty close to the entrance, so maybe I should have gotten a room a little further back😌 ⁡ It seemed like there were more families here than at RISONARE! Haimurubushi is a quiet resort surrounded by the nature of Kohama Island, and it was the perfect place to relax. The rooms were spacious and perfectly blended modern design with a traditional Okinawan atmosphere. The ocean view from the balcony was particularly amazing, and the hot springs overlooking the ocean were exceptional. The restaurant served dishes made with fresh local ingredients, and the Okinawan cuisine was particularly delicious. The staff were also very kind and attentive to us throughout our stay. There was a live Okinawan folk song performance in the evening, and the beach was close by, so we were able to spend a relaxing time listening to the sound of the gentle waves. There are several restaurants at the inn. They have partnered with an izakaya on the island and provide a shuttle service. The couple, who are interested in fermented foods, tended to choose to eat at the inn (lol) 《Sea Cafe》 A cafe where you can feel the sea in a panorama. They also have a wide variety of drinks, alcohol, and food. We enjoyed coffee while looking at the blue sea during the day, and coffee while watching the starry sky at night on the beach. Kohama Island has a lot of rain like squalls, and we got caught in the rain when we went to see the stars, but it was a wonderful time waiting for the rain to stop at this cafe. The staff are also friendly and fun. 《Fermentation Course: Dinner》 The Okinawan word "nuchigusui" is medicine for life. You can enjoy dinner based on this concept. We were able to eat quietly at the club dining, which is a little further back than the bustling buffet dining. Both are busy and the food is very delicious. The main meat in particular was so delicious and odorless that I wondered if 12,000 yen was enough for this course. I wonder if it was local Wagyu beef...? Also, after I was full, the dessert cart service had so many options that it was hard to choose, and I was very happy. 《Fermented Breakfast》 The fermented breakfast, limited to 10 meals per day, has a gentle taste and is perfect for the morning. The fermented rice porridge has a sweet sake-like taste, so it kills two birds with one stone by settling your stomach on a trip where you eat and drink a lot. It comes with a lot of condiments, so you can finish the porridge in no time. At first I wondered if the amount would be enough, but I was full. I also had the dinner and breakfast buffets. Off-season for the southern islands, we went to Kohama Island. We took a boat from Ishigaki Port, and when we arrived at the port, many hotel buses greeted us. We listened to the cute staff's guide to the island in local accent, and arrived at the vast grounds of Haimurubushi in no time! Since we all checked in at the same time, the front desk was open many times to accommodate us. We discussed our desired activities, and the welcome drink was a local exclusive Baiyalis🌺 Because the grounds are large, we had booked with a buggy, but we went to the beach, did yoga, took a bath, did laundry, and in the end, this was a great choice◎ Our room was the Premium Terrace Deluxe Room closest to the entrance. Although it was far from the sea, we were able to relax on the sofa in the garden. There was a bath in the room, but I recommend going to the large public bath. At sunset, everyone was looking at the sea from the bath✨ The night sky is just beautiful in winter... I was thrilled to be able to observe the winter sky in the garden! If you stare, you'll see a shooting star! You can also see the buffalo and goats on the premises up close. Since our room was close to the buffalo, we often heard them mooing at night. lol Since the pool was not available at the time, sauna activities were held by the pool! We had the sauna dome and the pool, which no one else could use, all to ourselves, which gave us a sense of superiority. We started morning yoga at dusk, and while waiting for the sun to rise, we were able to prepare our mind and body, which is highly recommended. We rented bicycles during the day and went cycling, and we were able to go around the island in about 2 hours! The activities I applied for during my stay at Haimurubushi were a great choice. Applications can be made up to the day before at the activity counter next to the hotel front desk. There are a variety of genres, including clownfish snorkeling, a phantom island landing tour, and a mangrove kayaking tour on Iriomote Island. I chose the phantom island landing tour. We were blessed with good weather, and the water was clearer than we expected. There is a private bus to take you to and from the hotel entrance and the boat, and beach towels are also available for rental. The sun is strong, so we recommend wearing a rash guard or UV leggings over your swimsuit. It was a very satisfying tour that even small children can enjoy.
