Jeju Island's Fairy Tale Cafe Haehwatang 해화탕
Address: 5855 Iljuseo-ro, Hallim-eup, Jeju-si, Jeju-do, South Korea
Atmosphere/Facilities: Outdoor beach sofa area, restroom, cafe by the coast
Features: Misty, Zen music, cool
Average Price: 10,000 Korean Won
Rating: The smoky cafe is not a very popular attraction in Jeju Island, but its specialty is the smoke that appears every half hour for about 10 minutes. Accompanied by the sound of porcelain bowls colliding in the water of the cafe and the slightly Zen music, the moment the smoke starts is particularly enchanting, like a fairyland. Both the indoor and outdoor floors are sandy.
The location is on a coast, and the entrance is not easy to find. Google's business hours are not very accurate. It is recommended to call the cafe before leaving to confirm: 0507-1436-5150.
The smoke makes the interior very cool, which is a coolness brought by the moisture. After the smoke disperses, it is actually a cafe full of installation art, which is very photogenic.
The drinks taste okay as well, suitable for those who want to explore and take photos.
