As for food, there are two restaurants worth mentioning: 'Leshan Ramen,' which is affordable with a good broth and great value for those with a big appetite; and 'Shengshi Teppanyaki,' which is a high-end option perfect for when you want to treat yourself. Plus, it's a standalone facility, so drivers don't need to worry about parking. 🗓️ Itinerary: From the hotel, you can head right to visit the Lanyang Museum and take a whale-watching boat to Guishan Island, which is about a 15-minute walk away. If you head left, you can explore Toucheng Old Street and the restaurants and snacks near Toucheng Train Station, which are also about a 10-15 minute walk. If you don't feel like walking, you can borrow a free bicycle from the hotel and enjoy a comfortable ride. Guishan Island is a warrior who protects the peace and happiness of Lanyang Plain. Looking at it from any point on the coastline from Suao to Toucheng, it will have a different shape. It rises and falls with the tides. Legend has it that if you see clouds covering the top of the mountain early in the morning, it will definitely rain tomorrow. Believe me, the scenery at Guishan Island is stunning. Most of the ecosystem there is well preserved due to there being only less than 20 people, mainly the military service volunteers who will stay there for a long duration. There is also a choice to join the SUP activity there, but due to the late reservation and time constraints, I didn't join. I will definitely join it next time I visit.
