It took less than three hours to finish touring Gucun Park
I took advantage of the working day off the day before yesterday to visit Gucun Park. During the cherry blossom season every year, Gucun Park is always overcrowded, especially on holidays and weekend breaks, so I never had the chance to go. This time, it took less than three hours to finish the tour, also because it has now entered the late cherry blossom season, and most of the cherry blossoms have withered.
🕙Opening hours: 6:00——18:00
📍Detailed address: No. 4788 Hutai Road, Gucun Town, Baoshan District, Shanghai
🚉Transportation strategy: Subway lines 7 and 15 are near the park, and you can also drive there.
🗓 Background: Gucun Park (Gucun Park), located at No. 4788 Hutai Road, Gucun Town, Baoshan District, Shanghai, starts from Hutai Road in the east, reaches Chengguang Road in the west, borders Jingbo Lake Road in the north, and is close to the outer ring expressway in the south; it covers a total area of 430 hectares, of which phase one occupies 180 hectares, and phase two occupies 244.7 hectares.
Gucun Park phase one started construction in August 2007, and phase two started construction on October 22, 2012. The park's construction concept is 'people-friendly and cultural', with ecological leisure and entertainment as the theme, integrating ecological protection, landscape viewing, leisure fitness, cultural entertainment, and tourism and vacation functions, complementing the functions of traditional urban parks, and is divided into two phases along the central river.
⏳Recommended visiting time: 3——5 hours
🌟Highlights: Cherry blossoms, rapeseed flowers, Dinosaur Park, boat rides, Bird World, paintball shooting.
📝Tips: Try to avoid weekends and holidays for a better experience. We entered from gate 2, which is also the largest gate, and then followed the route from left to right, passing gates 1 and 3. It is not recommended to rent the electric cars in the park, as they are very slow.
