Sun Yat Sen Hall with beautiful surroundings
Zhongshan Memorial Hall is an octagon-shaped building. The hall is impressive with octagonal structure without pillars.
Getting here: Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall Station (Chinese: 纪念堂站) is a station on Line 2 of the Guangzhou Metro
The hall itself has been severely damaged and repaired several times until 1998, when it was comprehensively upgraded to its present-day condition. A statue of Sun Yat-sen was erected in front of the main entrance.
What I like most is its surrounding with beautiful trees and shade. Coming here during spring time, around March when the flower will blossom and create a very beautiful landscape.

Commemorate the father of modern China
The Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall is a large building in Yuexiu District, Guangzhou, built a few years after the death of Sun Yat-sen, founder and president of the Republic of China. It's an excellent modern example of Lingnan (southern Chinese) architecture.
Getting There - The Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall is easily accessed from Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall Station and Yuexiu Park Station on metro line 2.
Attractions - Access to the grounds is free but a ticket (¥10) is required to enter the building, where there's an exhibition about the life and times of Dr Sun Yat-sen. Concerts are also sometimes held in the main hall.
From behind the memorial hall, enter Yuexiu Park and climb several hundred stairs to reach another Sun Yat-sen memorial, a huge stone obelisk. It's usually possible to climb to the viewing platform of this tower, though not to the top.
Why go - The Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall is a popular spot for photos, especially with the statue of the venerable doctor, and the grounds are a welcome green space in the otherwise densely packed Yuexiu District. It's a good place to learn more about the life and legacy of this important man in the development of modern China.

Dr. Sun Yat Sen memorial.
China has numerous memorials dedicated to this famous person and his outstanding achievements. This is one of them. Outside it looks like beautiful mansion with peaceful garden and Sun Yat stature. Inside of mansion rooms one by one introduce the life episodes and achievements of this person. Pretty well and interesting.

Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall
This summer, I had the pleasure of visiting the Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall with my family. The grandeur of the architecture, with its stunning blue and gold roof, was awe-inspiring. As we explored the museum, we learned so much about Dr. Sun Yat-sen's life and his pivotal role in modern Chinese history. The serene gardens surrounding the hall were the perfect place to take a stroll and reflect on his legacy. It was a beautiful and educational experience that left us all inspired and appreciative of this incredible piece of history.#localguides #historicallandmarks #guangzhou

The Mt. Zhongshan Memorial Hall
is one of the most iconic buildings in Guangzhou. It is built to commemorate Sun Yat-sen. The perfect combination of Chinese and Western architecture is an octagonal palace building with strong ethnic features and blue glazed tiles on the roof. Magnificent.
Walk inside and feel that the current memorial hall attracts tourist groups from all directions, and there are still quite a lot of people.
The area is shaded by trees and there are plenty of resting areas. It is undeniably a good place to relax.
The square in front of the lobby is more people, but there are fewer people on both sides of the east and west doors. On the steps here, in front of the red door wall, you can shoot a large piece in minutes.

If you come to Guangzhou, the Zhongshan Memorial Hall must come and see, not only its historical heritage, but also the beauty of the building, enough to attract you to visit. The
Zhongshan Memorial Hall is a monumental building that the people of Guangzhou and overseas Chinese raised to build money to commemorate the great revolutionary pioneer Sun Yat-sen. It was started in 1929 and completed in 2 years. The total area is 6.2 hectares.
Watch the museum for 10 yuan, the memorial hall is free.

Located at Dongfeng Middle Road in Guangzhou, the Zhongshan Memorial Hall is one of the most magnificent classical buildings in Guangzhou. Its designers are the same as the designers of Nanjing Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum. The
Zhongshan Memorial Hall was originally built by overseas Chinese to commemorate Mr. Sun Yat-sen.
This classical hall is an octagonal building with blue glazed tiles on the roof. The designer cleverly uses the structural principles of building mechanics. It uses a steel frame and reinforced concrete structure, spanning 71 meters in the building space. Without a column, the world's tourists are amazed.
Transportation: Guangzhou Metro Line 2 Memorial Hall Station.
